I thought the lmg handling was worse but pistols’ performances are totally messed up.
Example:
Mauser c96: 7.6 mm standart catridge, 425 muzzle velocity , 10 round
Nagant 95: 7.6 mm standart catridge ,1100 velocity , 7 rounds
So
95 revolver has lower rate of fire lower rounds but higher accuracy and deadlier per bullet
Mauser is opposite
This is an unwritten universal rule for nearly every fps.
Since pistols cant shoot distant targets or dont have high ammo capacity like smg, they are secondary weapons and are not even needed to be ranked in most other games.
And every different pistol has different taste of gameplay.
In enlisted, pistolsa are just a bad joke
Rant which is not even reflecting reality. I guess that’s new forum meta, nice.
Hell he’s right i wish we would have, heavy hitting Revolvers.
they are ok but the Balance between Handguns could be done like every other shooter do.
Lol what joke is this? You can’t even differentiate different speed unit.
Maybe use some common sense instead of blindly copying the number.
A Nagant with 1100m/s? You are not using an anti tank rifle.
That should be 1100 ft/s (335 m/s).
They could be. Should they be, though? I don’t mind Enlisted reflecting real life where capacity is king.
I think the 1911 does good enough. Put enough bullets in someone’s direction and you can get a random headshot often enough
Step 1: Get a pistol
Step 2: remember that to shoot accurately, the front sight has to be pointing at the person/animal/object that you want to put holes in.
Step 3: pay attention to your front sight. Because you are paying attention to your front sight as it recoils you aren’t searching for it between shots and only have to take a few fractions of a second to find the person/animal/object you are trying to put holes in (which is PROBABLY going to be bigger than your front sight).
Step 4: discharge your side arm and repeat Step 3 and 4 until person/animal/object is sufficiently full of holes or you need to reload your side arm.
Using these simple steps, you will find that in close quarters engagements, pistols can easily overwhelm rifle users, and even surprise submachine gun users who aren’t expecting several rounds of .45 ACP (The Lord’s caliber) in their chest.
Bonus tip; some pistols recoil animation drops the back of the pistol rather than raising the front sight, (the Type 14 Nambu being the best example) Meaning that the front sight actually stays completely still, making it absurdly accurate within a few yards/meters/arshins.
But when I pulled out my beloved platinum Ruger and put it on the kill list.
There will be several people who will have the idea of "really wanting" at the same time.
lol
I must’ve cheated yesterday then, when with my tanker armed only with a broom handle, I cleared an assaulter squad chasing me through a house. (Granted, last guy was killed with the Thompson I had picked up from my previous target).
Underestimating pistols is foolish.
Also, they’re SIDEARMS, secondary emergency weapons, so DUH, ofc they’re weaker than your main one!
