Pistol confusion

I’m glad pistol prices were greatly lowered at last. But I wonder. Why is the p38 300 silvers, and the luger p08, 750 silvers? They are pratically identical, and technically, stats are a tiny itsy bitsy bit better for the 300 silver more modern p38.

why? I’m confused.

Same way the cool weapon skins used to cost as much or more than the gun itself in Heroes and Generals.

Because Luger is part of the Tiger - Fw 190 - Mg42 gateway to wehrabooism.

It’s effectively a wehraboo tax.

Honestly it was my first assumption for real :laughing:

It was like old H&G. You could buy a skin for the luger (ivory handle) that cost the amount of roughly 50 battles.

I did it twice…

I felt snobbish and superior with it :laughing:

Edit:

Uh… I hadn’t scrolled down… it’s exactly what @Valkay wrote!!! :rofl::joy:

Mm yes. This is a proper sidearm for a gentleman. That rubbish over there belongs in the hands of the commoners. Oh my, not that the commoners would ever be allowed to own such things. Can you imagine it? The peasants having weapons? Oh how dreadful. This though, this Luger I like. I think I shall go to the shooting competition with this. Show that insert nobility name here what real marksmanship looks like

Honestly though? Toggle lock isn’t my favorite mechanism. It’s cool to see, and anything that isn’t a Luger that uses it is an immediate “oh look at that.” But honestly? I wouldn’t want to have to use a toggle lock weapon in a war setting. Or self defense setting. Or any other setting where my life’s on the line. I’ll stick to the golden standard the 1911 set for semi auto pistols. Lol
