Pistol changes TT

The TT only hits for 5.3 it should really hit around or a litter under 6.0 and should have less damage drop off than most pistols in the game because the 7.62x25 was a very good round especially are range also can they add a slide movement/recoil animation for the TT.Lastly they should buff the nagant revolver 1895 it has terrible damage at 5.0 and for a double action revolver with a long reload they should buff the damge at lest a little of better option but would take a lot of work rework it and make it a single action like most were in ww2.

The TT damage is ok.
Even soviet SMG that fire the same round only have 5.5 base damage.
The pistol, because it’s barrel is shorter (duh), also have slower velocity than the SMG (450m/s SMG, 400m/s pistol). which mean less damage.
So, it’s justifiable for pistol to have lower damage than SMG. (also, it’s not just soviet pistol, all pistol have lower damage than the SMG counterpart that fire the same round for the velocity reason)

about Nagant 1895, sure I guess, that thing is close to useless

Double action?, The version currently in game is the single action one, that is why you have to reset the hammer manually after each shot.

Which is ahistorical, since the Red Army have double action nagant revolvers to everyone, only the old Russian imperial army used single action revolvers, for regular soldiers since they deem them not trust worthy enough.

They don’t give the Soviet smgs as much damage as they should cause they have to balance it the should make TT have almost 6.0 and better at range the round was more powerful than the 9mm and should be a little above how much damage the Luger had

Well, the C96 Mauser which fires a 7.63 × 25 Mauser round which is rather similar to the 7.62 x 25 Tokarev round also deals 5.3 damage, so it appears bullet size is the most important factor in determining the damage output. Thats also why the 1911 is the only pistol that does 6 damage, and with the system they have in place right now, it should remain the only pistol to do so.

7.62x25 was one of the most powerful pistol round in the war behind the 45 acp it shouldn’t do 6 it should do like 5.7 but should have significantly less damage reduction. And they can’t make the USSR sub machines to do that damage because they would be op but pistols barely are used and are hard to get anyway so they should change it.

From what I read, its basically an improved 7.63 x 25 Mauser round, and seeing as they basically have the same diameter, which is the most important value in determining damage in this game, I see no reason to change the system we have now. 7.62/7.63 < 9.00 < 11.4, thus the current damage system.
