At the moment phosphorus grenades are about as effective as a bottled fart.
So instead of increasing damage or dispersion time I have a few suggestions:
•when in the gas cloud stamina will be drained at a very fast rate (because the gas will make the player cough)
•when in the cloud sight will blur because of the burning sensation
•gas will take longer to disappear in enclosed spaces like buildings that can’t be destroyed.
Also troops with gas masks should be immune to all effects except the initial fire. Like this guy:

I really like this idea. It makes phosphorus kind of an incapacitating grenade. We don’t have anything like this in the game so filling this nishe sounds like the right move.

I remember what we did in pacific to defend the first point in tenaru river
people with grenade bags tossing all 3 phosphorus grenades on the point.
man they were op.

now they are just a glorified smoke nade
The moltovs kind of fill a similar niche, but that’s only because the fire is so weak

Also the gas should be hard to see through. The one we have is too transparent compared to the real thing
