Since we all know that Tanks are pretty much an powerhouse on the field how about tone down their points a little to even it up for everyone ?
I mean they also get bunch of points for destroying vehicles so think its bit fair ?
I think a Tank should be strong but not an farming machine for points as everyone should get an fair chance of being heroes so to speak
I’d say no for 1 simple reason: I feel as if the grind is bad enough already, we don’t need to make it worse.
Of course vehicle spam is a problem, but I feel like there’s other ways to balance that. For example, having to wait through more infantry respawns or if you have premium having both vehicle slots reset after using 1 of them.
No you actually get points for killing people inside those caps asw…All support teams gets this and the cap point isnt that high anyways ^^ Youre getting 600% the points for killing an vehicle
Game play exp isnt at all limited and you can stack up fast points with it
After you killed 200 with em you mean ? So wouldnt say thats a lot of time spent just to get ammo ^^

If you mouse over the XP gain per squad in the after match report, you will see that tankers typically get less XP than they have score, same for aircraft. Enlisted, like Warthunder, factors in playtime for calculating XP and they want you to have a relatively stable amount of XP gain per minute, there’s a soft-cap so as you gain score very quickly you’ll get a lower percentage of your score as XP.
Weird since how i remember it, it was easy to get to the top of the scoreboard with an tanker even before the reload point got introduced. Aircraft i get the same points for strafing infantry with the mg as they get on the ground. Usually you get the long range bonus how ever
So with this said i want the Tankers to having to be doing an good job to get up there, but also so others can compete with it easier asw. Then comes the light tanks in to consideration asw though since they arent usually killing vehicles
I think tanks would not score so obscenely if it was not so easy for them to camp in the greyzone where infantry cannot reach them with explosive packs.
So less a “tank op” problem and more of a map design problem.
Darkflow says they are aware greyzone camping tanks are a problem so we will need to wait and see if their changes actually address it.
what about submachine guns ? select fire rifles ? Light machine guns you can really murder tons of people with them in a short time period hell even artillery with the radio operators.
Well those you need to find the enemies and are more exposed to dying. With an tank you can basically park behind your infantry and just fire away thru buildings, kill enemy tanks more easily and also splash bigger areas with infantry with the HE. Its more effectively done with the Tank then the others overall
Sure bomb planes are good to but then you need to find the enemy and rearm which isnt as effective as an tank can be
Not saying an tank is OP just that its easy to rack up points in one and to me it need more difficulties to show that it been rly effective so to speak as an tank commander.
Perhaps 5-10% reduction in points against inf nothing substantial
Low level players in Tunisia be like: “No AT squad yet, first planes you get don’t have bombs or rockets, can’t reach the tank with a detpack because greyzone, can’t call arty on tank because greyzone…this sucks, ain’t playing Tunisia no more”
The real issue is that most people don’t know that they can dive in to the gray zone, kill the tank with dynamite, and get back. If the tank is funder away on the gray zone, then it would not be able to fire at infantry at all. Like honestly you can survive for quite some time in the gray zone.
