Pe 3’s rocket turned into a bomb. Do you think it is strengthened or weakened?

The 6 rounds of RBS132 rockets turned into 4 100kg bombs, but the poor flight performance did not make me feel stronger

In moscow bomb are not op like normandy there are no nuke and the aftershock of explosion dont kill for km so i its fine for the fligth performance the pe 3 is inferior in comparison with il2 in everything so dont mind of use it if you dont like it

It would be great if these four 100kg bombs could be given to Il-2, the current Il-2’s mount is too weak

Agree the first stuka is made of paper but hit hard

To be honest, I prefer the mount of the second IL-2 in the Battle of Berlin.

Depends. The rockets are way better than the rockets of the IL and the I. On the other hand the Pe is like a brick which sucks if you use rockets.

Planes are still INCOMPLETE at this state of the game.
PE-3 should have some bombs+rockets. (And rockes are pretty lame if you compare them with bombs)
Wait until you see the Sb-2m that has ONLY bombs.(no Mg’s)

German planes, at least in “Weapons” are more complete in Moscow Campaign.

Oooohhh ,… that might make it more worth using - haven’t used it for months - was very disappointed to find it didn’t have bombs.

No - it should have 1 or other - but it could take 2 x 250kg and 2 x 100kg bombs, and it should have a 20mm cannon.

Of course - but this isn’t Berlin - it is Moscow - I’m sure you’d prefer to have T34/85’s in Moscow too… :rofl:

SB-2 is my first choice infantry attack plane in Moscow - there are some maps it is better on than others because you can fly a line dropping 3 lots of 2 x 100kg bombs and they will all hit something - eg the river bank in the forestry invasion scenario.

No it isn’t - the Il-2 in Moscow is probably hte best plane in the campaign - it has a powerful anti-infantry bombload capable of hitting multiple areas, and a powerful anti-aircraft armament so it is probably the best interceptor too!!

Actually, back in CAT, IL2 do has 4x100kg bombs. That’s make it reasonable compared with Stuka’s easy flight control.
Though IL2 is really tough when shooting direct from the back. (Same with some German’s late stage attackers)

NVM, I just know that even though Pe3 is an attacker plane. But its counterpart, German’s lv19 BF110 C7, even though it has 2x250kg, it’s a fighter plane!
