As we’ll all agree, console players and PC players have a fundamentally different gaming environment. The console has a dedicated console, and PC players can use a keyboard and mouse, so there is a big difference in the way the game is played.
Crossplay is a feature that console players and PC players can enjoy at the same time. Console players can turn this feature on and off. This means that when crossplay is turned off, console players can play with console players. However, PC players do not have the option of crossplay itself. Console players can turn off crossplay whenever they don’t want to play with PC players, but PC players don’t have that option.
So, I think it is necessary to create a function that allows PC users to turn on/off cross-play in the game as quickly as possible.
But to be perfectly honest now: I don’t see the difference between console or pc players anymore. Both devices players camp in grey zones outside cap zones…
As a pc player, I’m more than happy to charge cap zones with other players, whatever their preferred device tbh.
The actual motivation of keo for dont implement it is dont split more the playerbase but on same time, in the editor you can find winterdressed american soldier, this mean battle of bulge, and this mean 7 campaign (8 with the obbligatory soviet one)
i see the difference… get into normandy allies where you constantly get around 5 console players vs almost full pc axis. those console players we get ingame are newbies who dont know how to disable crossplay for enjoyable playtime experience…
