It would be nice though however small confrontation it may be to have a battle for the liberation of Paris! Including French resistance squads sided with American squads ect to confront the axis squads whom remained in the city!

The French had a problem that the Eiffel Tower was destroyed in the WoT trailer, and then they still thought it was not correct to place the French capital in a war game. Could be a problem here too.

typical french butthurt moment. no one cares what some whiners say, we definitely need paris as a map. also there are lots of world famous games where paris was part of ww2.

Irrc there were only minor partisan fights in Paris but no real clashes, since the German forces there pretty much surrendered to the Allied forces.

there was some fighting but its mostly overlooked, German 20mm flak guns kept allied infantry pinned down until they ran dry, than they surrendered.

It wasnt really “Allied troops” but French Resistance Fighters and a couple of Free French soldiers. When the Yankees arrived, the Germans were already on the edge of surrender irrc.
It was a battle but I doubt it fits in with the battle meta of Enlisted .
Okay but, wasn’t Paris liberation ALMOST peaceful with small skirmishes on the outskirts and the resistance disrupting the german retreat?

It was mostly peaceful with the German general surrendering against German high command’s wishes, but there were German snipers here and there along with some fighting.

Absurd idea
No battle ever happened in paris neither in 1940 or 1944.
In 1944, about 30 k germans left in paris when allies advancing, vast majority of germans retreated to siegfried line since german hq abondoned the idea of reinforcing seine river as new front since their situation was hopeless. french resistance started an uprising that lasted about just 6 days. Less than 3k people died in some random street fights.
German commander von choltitz disobeyed moustache man and surrendered without fighting when first ally spearheads reached the outskirts of city.
If you want to add 1944 west front maps
Why not arracourt ( biggest tank battle of western front)
Why not Caen ?
Or battle of metz where american couldnt manage to destroy lot of german bunker even with their big guns ?
Or operation dragoon, marseile and more rigged/mountainous south france ?
Or aachen, hĂĽrrgen forest , market garden ?
if you are going to put Paris map, I want a premium squad of spaniards,because not many know but the remanents of Spanish Republic send people for help in France and they fight for the liberation of Paris

If you ask me, Paris wouldn’t even be in my top 20 fields of battle list, simply because “nothing” of significance happened.
We could all discuss day and night about some really cool places and which one should come first. Without any doubt, everyone has a bit of right.
Me personally:
I want to fight in the Reichstag, Carentan, Cherbourg, Caen, Schelde (Netherlands), some Scandinavian places? Narvik? etc. Etc. Etc.
As I said: lots of cool places to fight in Enlisted, it is just my personal wish.
