You see the chute drop the square box. You go there. They spawn on the package and your squad gets wiped in an instant. This is a game breaking for me.
Might not play until things are resolved. Totally ruins the immersion and slight realistic feeling of this otherwise great WW2 shooter.

Look up and shoot them out of their chutes

Plot twist, there was an enemy rally in the area and a fresh squad popped.
I see no other possibility

Shoot them before they land. If you can’t kill them once they are on the ground I think the issue may be on your end.
