Paratroopers Supply Box (Schemes)

The new supply box that is dropped with the paratroopers could allow us to finally have custom loadouts in custom games.

However i’m stuck at this:

This does nothing:

Loadout data is stored in the schematic file. It is very similar to profile files but they are more simple, and IMO more versatile

The schematic file is stored next to profiles in: sqcommon.vromfs.bin\enl\globals\data\paratroopers_schemes.json
paratroopers_schemes.json.txt (74,1 kB)

It is also “generated” which can be removed, but that method doesn’t work online…

Even if i could load custom scheme files, i don’t think it is possible to bound the supply box to the squad?
(I made that assumption based on

This

paratroopers_supply_box.das.txt (14,5 kB)

Maybe someone has an idea?

I’m sorry I can’t help your problem, but do think this means the next event might also be Normandy paratroopers?

Yep, Keo already said we are going to get more normandy event stuff soon.

thanks for the info

No, they are selling them now, the event for normandy for sure give us a canadian squad and another [insert german one]

This entity is server side.
So in theory it should fine works in multiplayer.
And yeah. I just tested it by editing entities.blk.
File code is:

paratroopers_supply_schemes{
  _override:b=yes
  paratroopers__supplySchemesJson:t="%ugm/paratroopers_schemes.json"
}

It’s possible to edit it for local and also for online games.

Damn. I must add more engineers to all slots. And rework some presets.

Only 1 real problem - is…

I too didn’t find ways to avoid it yet.

Would be nice if someday we will got event with this class.
Then we can better understand how it works.

Ugh, again? some campaigns are still going a year+ since getting a event squad…

With upcoming merging it doesn’t even matter. In the last one/two months every nation received event squad. (I don’t count Britain and italy as seperate nations. Because they most likely end up as sub nations to USA and Germany)
