Paratroopers need standardization and rework

Now that we can equip the same squad with different weapons to play different BRs, we need this more then ever. I believe that the supply crate should be customizable. I get why Darkflow would want to keep the composition of loadouts (engineer only in a mortar squad and so on) the same, but I really believe that we should be able to change the weapons in these loadouts. Also, since the paratroopers are a class accessible only via gold or events, they should all be able to equip different weapons as their primaries.

My suggestion is to make it work like this:

  • paratroopers are able to equip all SMGs (no assault rifles though) as well as the weapon they came with as their primary weapon,
  • there are four loadouts, in each of them you’re able to choose the weapons listed below:
    • assault - 3 machine guns, unless the squad comes with a machine gun, then 3 SMGs
    • AT - 3 AT weapons
    • mortar - 2 mortars and an engineer (yes, you should be able to equip the event engineer hammer too)
    • recon - 2 sniper rifles
  • there is also the Italian flametrooper loadout for their paratrooper squad, but that flamethrower is an event weapon and thus shouldn’t be altered.

I would also like to add that the Germans do not have a low BR paratroop squad unlike the allies. This means that the game is presently unbalanced as Germans have noa access to paras in BR 2 while allies do.

Oh yeah, you’re right. Didn’t know that the Welgun squad is BR II until know. Well, in this case, we need this system even more:)

Not only the Welgun, but the M1A1 carbine paratrooper squad as well.
