Panzerschreck

When are we gonna see a Panzerschreck in the game?

Most likely next year.

RPZB. 43 Panzerschreck

In Berlin CAT both the soviets and germans had panzerschrecks.

They better give the panzerchreck its shield for Berlin

If they give that to both factions AGAIN like faust 60/100 then they REALLY lack imagination… :unamused:

maybe they’ll use RPG-1 but that is mostly a prototype weapon and i know people here that wouldn’t really like that

Well, no, the Soviets have an analog … Bazooka m1! Because these devils want too much. How to give an analogue of ppsh 41, and named suomi k31, then go to the ass, and as the lack of PT funds from the Soviets, then “trophy samples” from every soldier

you know m1 bazooka was inferior to panzerschreck and infact that bazooka line didn’t reach panzerschrecks level until korea

Im pretty sure the one with the shield was for the soviets and the one without for germans, at least thats how the campaign level pictures showed.

Shouldnt it be the opposite lol?
The shield was standard issue for the panzerchreck in the german army since late 1944 because the rocket would burn the soldiers face without it

How about we give the soviets an anlaog of the FG-42/II? In the future an analog of the StG-44?
Soviets caputred and used thousands of panzerfausts by the end of the war.

They could have given them the RPG-1 instead of the Panzerfaust 60 and the PTR-82 instead of the Panzerfaust 100. But those are only prototypes built in small numbers.

RPG-1:
RPG-1

PTR-82:

PTR-82

I’d like to say that Germans in Berlin and Normandy used the Panzerschreck, while the Allies and Comintern both had their own anti-tank weaponry, so it shouldn’t be mixed as the devs kinda tend to do.

For Berlin, the Soviets already have access to the Panzerfaust (assuming them have captured many so they are using it), but it would be less likely to see a considerable amount of Soviet forces handling Panzerschrecks, while a PTRD-41 and PTRS-41 would be more realistic.
There were also around 9’000 M1 Bazooka issued to the Soviets by the USA.

The design of the RPG-1 spaced from 1944 and 1948, and was never put into production.

The RPR-82 was a prototype of 1944, and its M variant, was starting to be tested in 1945 and the RPR-82 was only adopted in 1950.

Wouldn’t be fair to give a faction 1950s weapons tho

Prototypes of these weapons were built and tested during WW2, both are worse than the panzerschreck and the RPG-1 is worse than a panzerfaust.

You are against these, so that means you want more copy paste?

I know the chances are good… I’m just hoping they’d add something different for once. They are really unimaginative in Berlin for factions AT equipment, being identical and all :frowning:

considering that M1 bazzoka is real good, i have no problem that will be the panzesherk couterpart in battle of berlim

The Soviets captured masses of Fäuste during their advance to the West.
But yeah. Lets give the Soviets AT rifles honk honk.
