He anyone seen a Pz IV in a match yet? I haven’t I have also never seen the Russian big tank. I have saw a bunch of Sherman’s though on Normandy, but no jumbos.
ive seen three jumbos now. they are such a pain in the ass to take out

I’ve seen both panzer iv’s and jumbos. As a Sherman user, let me say killing a panzer 4 that’s on top of the East or West hill while you’re on the beach of Normandy is not a fun time.
You just gotta pray they don’t kill you while waiting for one of your buds to nobly suicide a P38 on em.

Play more, i see them often. Maybe you need to be more level to be matched with people of more level
I’ve seen exactly 1, it was super early on too. Dude was probably a whale. He wrecked house on normandy.
The Jumbo, I experienced what a joy that was when playing my first game in the PZIIIN.
Shockingly, the Jumbo is not impervious. It’s tough, but not impossible to deal with. I managed to win 2 out of 3 duels with him in the PZ III (unless the other times I died in it where him killing me too, but I never saw who it was in those circumstances).
2 things. First off, angle your armor, and the 75mm will have a harder time dealing with a PZ III N. Second off, shockingly, the low velocity low penetration 75mm APC of the PZ III N can go through the hull machine gun port, if you land hits dead center on it. I was able to kill 1 or 2 crew with each penetration, and killed the Jumbo once from the front that way. Another time, he back off, making it harder to hit, and killed me, but I still took out half his crew. And a third time, he didnt notice me, so I closed to point blank behind him. The rear of the Jumbo is a lot weaker. The side armor towards the back where the engine is, is also weak. I was able to kill him there as well.
Anyway, hopes this helps people running into Jumbos for the first time.

Well I’m level 15 on Moscow, and just got level 10 on Normandy. I play every night, could be that on console a lot of people haven’t unlocked them yet, I can’t cross play with PC as every time I try I crash.

To be Honest, if you using PzIII or PzIV on Jumbo just angle tbh, Jumbo and shermans unlike the German tanks, their AP are solids means it just kills the crew if its directly hits (not to mention the devs choose M72 shells for Jumbo and Sherman instead M61)
I have the jumbo and pz 4. And I’m starting to see a lot of others out there now too

from lunch of OBT i encountered 9 shermans, 7 jumbos, 5 PZ IV J, and 1 PZ IV H ( not counting my self ).
but they usually are pretty rare ( for now ).
I just unlocked the jumbo.
The Jumbo is virtually unharmed against the hateful Bf110 rockets. Of course, it can also withstand German tank fire.
However, it is very slow and inferior to even the Puma in close range combat.
Slap puma with HE and it die in one shot
You do need to watch out against players who know what they’re doing. Both the Pz 3 and Pz 4s can pen the Jumbo’s front machine gun port for some dumb reason (thankfully most of them don’t realize that), so it’s good to try and angle that port away from them.
