BTW, they could use the same formula to put the T34 in Moscow. It would make sense, because the T34 in Moscow was roughly equivalent to a Panther in Normandy, and with the same disadvantages - mainly lesser availability.

FG (although I’ve never used it in the game, but I assume it’s better).

But having one better rifle available to a lower dispersion of users doesn’t make the teams unbalanced.

FG42 is strong enough to break the balance.
It’s a much crazier weapon than you think. It’s also crazy that all soldiers can use it.
Because of this, even one high-level user can break the game.

In fact, I’ve argued before that the tanks could be balanced by just making the US tanks available earlier or more frequently than the German tanks, so a Tiger or Panther is balanced out numerically.

If that happens, the number of infantry will decrease and they will not be able to capture it.

speaking objectively apart for the m1garand vs the fg42 yes it will be balanced, subjectively axis have stuff much more fun and easy to play.

US troops of ANY CLASS can assault a building by barging in quickly and blind firing. Even with a Garand, you’ve got a decent chance of clearing the room before you get mowed down or your clip empties.

If US troops can assault with garand then why axis cant with g43? It has 2 ammo more but equally powerful.

Or with fg42?

With m2 carbine its easy to get shot outside carbines ‘effective’ range

What I’m getting from these comments are that all the perceived balancing issues are appearing only in the latter tiers. My troops are level 15/16 around and I’ve never seen an FG42, G43 or any of those other weapons appearing to cancel the Allied advantage - and Allies have had carbine and Garand since like level 4.

It can but you have to basically be point blank and aim for the MG port
