"Panther" can't destroy "Jumbo" head-on (proven)

This should not be in reality! But jumbo is not destroyed head-on, even close to a powerful Panther cannon! Anyone who doubts this can try it in the “practice” mode P.S. In live player games, you can destroy jumbo head-on if you destroy all the crew members. The mechanics of the game are arranged so that when you destroy the last crew member, the tank explodes. For the same reason, you can destroy an empty tank even with a pistol shot.

This can be seen in your second video. You killed all the crew members-that’s why the jumbo exploded, and not because the ammunition detonated or the engine exploded. Try to kill jumbo head-on in the “practice” mode -you won’t succeed.
P.S. It should also be noted that in your second video at 0:47, jumbo stands at a favorable angle to you.

Than you should rename your thread into:
“Panther” can’t destroy “Jumbo” head-on in practice mode (proven)"

Besides that I do not understand why it even matters that you can’t kill it in practice mode, but in real battles. I would understand that it was a problem the other way around!

The problem is that you don’t destroy the tank itself. The tank explodes after all the crew members have been killed. The mechanics in the game are not working properly.

That is not a problem between Panther and Jumbo, but with all tanks.
Your naming makes it just sound like JUMBO OP, so if you want to get a point across, yeah change the topic to: “Armor model broken, tanks only explode after all members have been killed”.

Also they did change it to this behavior before that it was working differently, I myself have actually reported about this in “Bugs” and as far as I know other have too, like Erika. So yeah I do not see the point in posting it in the mess room?

Also we do not know if it really is a bug, or is working as intended.

Once I saw such a case: a tanker in a jumbo turned his tower back, and a panther shot jumbo for several minutes, having spent all his ammunition but not destroying the jumbo. I’m not sure if this method is working for jumbo’s survival (maybe the panther just shot the wrong way). But nevertheless, the fact remains that jumbo is destroyed head-on only by killing all crew members.

Wait, wait, wait, in that 2nd video, didn’t you penetrate the back turret and not the front? Or is it a graphical glitch/my bad eyesight?

Dude, read and than comprehend.
I just literally said it is the same with all tanks, it is not a “Panther vs Jumbo” problem but how the game (currently) works.

It is one of the bugs that have been in Enlisted like forever, at certain ranges there is this visual bug.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that, but never on anything that isn’t a panzer 2.
But it truly is a shame, cause due to it I can’t tell where exactly you penned.
And if you carefully look at where that jumbo shot before he got hit, the turret likely wasn¨t facing fully frontally, so that makes it even more difficult.

This is not a problem with all tanks. Less armored tanks are easily destroyed by a panther head-on. The bottom line is that the powerful panther Cannon in the game, even at a short distance, cannot effectively penetrate jumbo’s armor - although in reality the panther punched jumbo in the forehead at such a small distance.

Dr Rambo has arrived and I can see from your symptoms that you have a very minor case of serious skill issue, I prescribe 2 heavy doeses of ‘learn to play’, twice a day. If that doesn’t work, we can trial you on copium.

your videos are pretty bad examples, either you shoot a jumbo with its side exposed, or you see a panther shooting that jumbo from an “elevated position”, which causes its “effective slope” to be reduced, OR the panther shooting an empty tank that would even blow up if you shoot it with a Luger.

That being said, the Panther can still kill a jumbo “head-on”, which cant be done the other way around.

Damn I got trolled again!

But why does it matter? The Panther can still easily kill all the crew head-on, if you want to one-shot it then try to aim at the ammo which is below the crew. You dont even need to be completely to the side of the Jumbo, you can do this at a bit of an angle from the front.

This forum has gone to such level of retardation.

Not sure if serious. But you can’t compare 2 tanks on the training map fully.
There is no crew to be killed. And most ranks die either ammo rack explosion or crew deaths. In groups or one by one.

If you can’t get the ammo, and since no crew inside, ofc you won’t destroy it.

You can do exacly the same and conclude a panther can’t kill a Sherman in the training grounds. Doesn’t mean it ill apply in-game.

This, is either a troll post, or I don’t even know

Panther easily destroys Sherman head-on with 1 shot in practice mode-ammunition explodes-you can go and check it out. But you will not be able to kill jumbo head-on in practice mode in any way - because the damage mechanics are broken. Once again, in a game with live players, you destroy jumbo only because you kill all the crew members, and not knock out the tank itself. When shooting close to the forehead from a panther on a jumbo, you cannot cause either detonation of ammunition or ignition of fuel or engine.

You will not be able to trigger the detonation of the ammunition if you shoot in such a position as it is shown in my video. All you can do is kill all the crew members (faster or slower), after which the jumbo will automatically explode.
