I’m pretty sure everyone is starting to get bored of the Beach/Ocean based Maps, let’s move inland shall we? Jungle or Peninsula style filled with bunkers, caves, tunnels, railway bridges & the like, maybe some urban maps like Manila.

Third time’s a charm or maybe not? Up for discussion.

I had a few interesting ideas for what would make a cool event / gold order things (I think event would be a bit nicer to tie these together) of the M2 “Stinger” MG along with Tony Stein as an event Machine Gunner.

The AVG, aka those American mercenary’s, we’re only in Burma, and would be totally out of place anywhere in the Pacific

Same for the Chindets

……

There are actually several things on your list that aren’t really appropriate for the Pacific theater, but that’s not really probably something that’s going to stop them from adding crazy stuff because they add crazy stuff to all of the other campaigns, personally I was hoping they would try and keep this somewhere period and location Specific and not try to cram the entire war with Japan into one campaign

They (Darkflow) put out when this was released that it was gonna be set in 1942-45.

All for what I listed is Pacific appropriate, not sure what you’re on about.

If you’re worried about “historical accuracy” wether this was here or this wasn’t used in combat or there was a limited supply of this or that didn’t even come out yet. You should just play another game.

I would personally rather that there was more than just one campaign that had the Japanese, the issue I have with bringing assets that are historically appropriate for other theaters or other potential campaigns that would involve the Japanese is that you would be watering down or eliminating the potential for other campaigns.

If you start throwing things into the current campaign that have no place historically within the context of the Solomon Islands or of the Pacific campaign, The definition of which is kind of up for grabs, one way to interpret that definition would be the island hopping campaign in the Pacific, so that would include the Solomons, the Marshall Islands, Wake, exc…

Things that would basically take place in 1942 or 1943, they would not involve British assets, although they could use Australian forces that were operational in Solomons later in the campaign and New Zealand aircraft that were also operational in the Solomon’s.

To me New Guinea would be a separate campaign a way to introduce the Australians in a meaningful way not by watering them down and pouring them into some grand campaign that’s intended to represent everything that the Japanese did everywhere to me that would just be a horrible loss of opportunity.

The same is true for Burma, that has fantastic potential for including the Chinese, Indian, and British forces, and yes the AVG.

And if you really want to model the AVG when it was still really the AVG, they should be flying H 81s.

Yes, this wish list is very attractive. I hope they come near future.

It will be Ki-45 Kai. Ki-45 and Ki-45 Kai is 99.9% different aircraft. (only rear mg mount is same)

Type 94 6-wheeled truck? YES, we need it!
However, in game we already have Nissan Model 80 truck so I doubt DF add it.

It is very attractive, but weapon loadout is inferior to E13A1. If you want to improve first attacker plane of Japanese, perhaps it is good to add 250kg bomb for E13A1.

Rather I can’t find reason why they are not exist in spite of in this game there are lots of SNLF weapons like Type 100 paratrooper SMG, Type 3 motorboat Ka-Chi, Type I rifle, S1-100, Bergmann M1920 etc.
Can someone please tell me why?

This thing could be Radioman II unlock but one of my wishlists for Pacific include the early Type 99 rifle instead of the Kriegsmodell like late one.

Also captured Mosins from the Russo-Japanese war and Chinese Mausers.

Unless they branch the campaign to be US vs Japan and then Commonwealth vs Japan , thr Gurkhas will fit for their roles in Burma, India and Singapore.

let’s not forget the maps of iwo jima and wake island, both would open up an incredible range of possibilities, I also thought of a game mode like “convoy escort” or something that could involve air and naval means for attack and defense, but I don’t know how this game mode could be executed in practice

I’d like to see Wake Island rather than Iwo Jima, but that’s just me.
