The pacific campaign is pretty good, but I think there should be more maps than Gavutu, Guadalcanal, and alligator creek (which I think is part of Guadalcanal). More maps such Guam, Iwo Jima, and Saipan would be great additions to the game and would add more diversity. Since they are large maps, the could be cut up into smaller parts (like on Guadalcanal) or just make larger longer battles.
Guam
(Even maps that don’t give a real location would be great too, like the Pacific Storm map from BF5.)

I just want Shuri Castle.
I bet they are working on new Pacific region with new levels so they could make few maps from that one.
They already showed the roadmap
1 new map for normandy and pacific and 2 new location for the eastern and western front
Considering how hard the Pacific Campaign flopped, I can’t imagine they are going to focus too hard on it (though I could be wrong).
The thing is, if they revamped the maps on Pacific a bit and added in a couple new game mechanic it wouldn’t be bad. The needed mechanics are:
-
Defenders need to be able to see where the other objectives are going to be. This would allow for more effective fortifications rather than just endlessly being bombarded and gassed until there is absolutely nothing left.
-
Axes need to be made able to cut down trees. Pacific has the unique potential for some long range combat support, both snipers and field guns, but there are too many trees and not enough ways to take them down to make use of those sight lines. Even for the shorter ranges clearing trees could significantly help.
-
Mine pouches. Pacific maps are notorious for being primarily infantry maps, with only the American SPAA and Stuart with a flamethrower breaking that trend at all. Even aircraft is pretty rare (in my experience). The lack of cover in many of the objectives means that flanks are especially lethal. In addition, grenade spam can quickly end any chances of defense. Being able to place more mines would help to repel attackers more efficiently, especially when it kills them before they get a chance to lob grenades.

Bailey Bridges would also significantly help when trying to cross the rivers and such, since in most areas only one main bridge is available and the water can be a death trap.
Changes like these could make the existing maps play quite differently, opening up a lot more possibilities on how a game plays out. Even with the addition of new maps, adding these would increase the number of ways those maps can be played before they get boring.
Trying to cross the water makes you sitting ducks (pun indented) for snipers, which can wipe your entire squad out, especially with the AI being dumb. Giving engineers the ability to build pontoon bridges would or Bailey Bridges would be really helpful.
