So it makes no sense any more to play as Japan. The allies have mostly the high ground and can shoot directly in the spawn ouf the Japanese. Mostly there are 6 allied player and 3 or less Japanese players. The allied ground vehicles are better and the planes too. Also the Japanese get 150/ 100 Tickets back for the capturing of a point. This campaign is so unbelievable brocken, my friends and I today left it until this shit is fixed.

True - I grinded Pacific Axis to the last level recently and it was very painful. Most unbalanced campaign IMHO. No fun

I do agree that capture rates and mechanics need to be refined and unified. I’ve heard some factions have quicker capture rates than others. I want it to be one whole single system
But on another note, I don’t have any problem playing any faction including the Japanese. I enjoy the game regardless
Berlin allies is the worst right now. The lobbies are unbelievably unbalanced. Im usually the only higher ranked player in the team while axis has half or more high ranked players.
It’s literally a 10%-20% win ratio for berlin allies right now
That’s because they lost Tunisia as a bot farm and So they go to the campaign where Japanese cannot fight back unless they reach end game level.
So until then we have to deal with M2 and Automatic pistols And we’ll just have to wait until the new BR goes into effect then we will have peace for the Japanese.

Still better than Axis Moscow that is only me vs 5 Soviets (5 bots). I’m trying to grind it to Assaulters IV and it’s way worse than Pacific Axis (you could have pretty powerful event tank, paratroopers and fully upgraded squad of 9 rifleman) or Berlin Soviets (at least the get great tanks and guns) while Axis Moscow only gets mediocre AA milk truck and at rifles that can only pen weakest tanks while t-34 and t-50 just blast your squad in a single shot.
Play Moscow Axis for few matches and you will instantly go back to playing Berlin Allies.
the auto pistols aint op. You can only have 4 of them and they have bad dispersion and low damage. They are good pistols but they will not compete against smgs or semi autos

Top tier JP gear is way better than American gear only exceptions are M2 Carbine (that will get removed with merge anyway), FP5 with Hvar and murrican lmgs, everything else is equal or better, JP has better rifles with faster bolt time from lvl1, Type 4 rifle 10 rounds semi rifle without broken reload speed like Johnson, best smg in Pacific which is Type 100 late it has great dps with almost zero recoil while with US smgs you can’t hit anything due huge recoil and awful ironsights, most op AT rifles in a game which are type 97 at rifle which can be used against all tanks, planes and against infantry you get them at lvl 5 and it’s usable past max lvl, you have Chi-ha kai that let you skip most of the grind (i don’t care if you don’t own it, not my problem that you haven’t played then) and then you have amazing HO-I plus post merge Japan will have even more great tanks.

When a sniper can carry a sniper rifle and a semi automatic sniper rifle which you can remove the scope and automatic pistol it will make them a devastating unit to meet on the battlefield.
that is higher than I expected. Hearing how bad it is on forum I thought its even worse, I guess anything under 50% is exaggerated by players.
The pistol lacks range and damage. If you really suffer against pistols then it is an skill issue
No I’m just bothered that they’re giving more firepower to a campaign which is gonna turn into a bot farm in the future until the new BR goes into effect.

About the original topic, it’s simply a playerbase issue, M2 carbine won’t meet japan with the merge and besides that the equipment is fairly well balanced.

popular factions of the campaigns shouldnt receive rewards, I guess?
not player friendly but it sure as hell boosts popularity of underdog factions.
We always keep saying the merge that’s not a valid answer to the people who are playing this game are we supposed to just wait until the merge happens or something.
Any event or premium gear for a player who just started playing the campaign is a huge help.
Since event weapons do have an impact on the player base of reinforced factions, it does make a difference, even if it is negligibly low as in the case of pistols.
