I know I’m 2 days late but thank you dark flow for finally fixing the Japanese campaign. I see players are switching back to playing Japanese and I hope this should make the campaign 50/50 for both factions

Like, I enjoy the gun buffs, but giving Japan a gun buff AT THE SAME TIME as the capture point/reinforcement buff? I love playing as Japan, but even I find that to be too much >.<
Since the latest patch, I’ve won every match as Japan, and lost every match as the US. The ratio of play was around 7 JP : 3 US. This was one NA by the way, so none of that Eastern Europe JP stack and such (well I did play on EEU and EU for like a couple of games).
Either buff the guns, or the reinforcement/capture power, BUT NOT BOTH!
Devs have access to the complete win rate of the whole campaign plus most players and enlisted youtubers did mention that us weapons overperform.
Its only the 3-5 of you who get raged every time someone mentions it
At least be happy you wont be shooting only AI anymore and will be able to play against actual players
Problem was nt the stuff but the unbrained players playing japan at this time … now its marines who are unbrained … why change stuff ?
It is because of equipment causing most player go to play US .

You can say that this is a matter of preference… no hell fucking no, my only preferable All-Rounder on Japanese side is Arisaka 38 Rifle.
Btw. I still don’t get it why they couldn’t shortened those distances to carriers and ressuplies points.
For which faction? Off the top of my head; Japan’s completed, and US is at… the M1 Carbine I think.
For the US I’ve just been Spamming BAR wherever possible tho, cuz that thing is BUSTED. Have a couple of Thompson .30 for the Medics, but I like to roleplay Desmond Doss and run around with the med crate. Dies horribly, of course.
As for Japanese guns, yeah I stick to the Type 38 too. Might have a lot to do with the fact that I only ever played Rifleman in Rising Storm and I really like the Type 38’s Aesthetics. Also the Type 99 is too slow on the action cycling, and for some reason they made it the late version so that’s just insulting. Also AP mines. A LOT of AP mines.
I mean most guns are decent now Arisaka is good, s100 and type100 are nice, sniper arisaka is great but they did not improve the terrible, HORRIBLE dispersion on type 11 machine gun.

It can’t hit an enemy further than 10m away and even at point blank hip-firing makes the bullets go all around the place, when I wanted to upgrade my lmg squad to the max I had to arm all my machine gunners with Arisaka carbines because even that gun is more useful than the type 11
Now that’s a real man. I too often had much more fun using the mere (fodder) rifleman class over limited automatics ones. Even when I was the first to log in and the spots were available… Rifleman.
I miss the Red Orchestra games…
If you played Normandy then you’ll know, 250KG bombing runs or 6 rocket runs every 45 seconds, also if the carriers were too close then they would shoot down any plane that comes within its range and their range is ridiculous, closer carriers also means shorter time to lure enemy plane to them.
