Pacific Campaign

One of the most anticipated things of enlisted is the famous campaign of the Pacific and in this cover I will dedicate myself to talk about how it would be so that they add it to the game.
The maps would be Iwo Jima and the Aleutian Islands, but mainly focused on Iwo Jima, both characterized by having tunnels and machine gun positions, but it would be more focused on Iwo Jima.
I don’t know much about what planes were used but there would be the Zero and the Corsairs.
I’m sorry I don’t give much information, but you could say in the comments what things you would see, THIS FORUM IS WRITTEN BY A TRANSLATOR, FORGIVE SPELLING ERRORS

Yeah, It will be a great addition for the game. I also want to see as a map Guadalcanal and the Pelelieu airfield. If gaijin do that i can say that will be epic.

I think that the pacific campaign will come one day, for sure. But the next campaign will be Stalingrad, it is mostly confirmed. A poll was made and people decided that Stalingrad should be next, if I understand correctly. Anyhow: Stalingrad is much more easier to implement as it should be mostly copy and paste.

I’d say an earlier camapign would be better, because Iwo Jima would be a pain to balance weapon wise while staying at least semi-historical.
And I really wouldn’t mind some dense Jungles in the game.

lo mismo ademas tambien avian algunas fortalezas creo

actually, it is a great campaign to implement light armored anti infantry /anti aircraft vehicles, and then see how they fit into the game.

What do you mean? I don’t speak Spanish and the translator is coming up with weird nonsense.

But with earlier war camapigns, there’d be less problems with tanks, smgs and semi-auto rifles.

I’m game for a Pacific campaign or even a world war 1 campaign. I think the devs have given us an amazing experience but these two would add more variety

I would love to see a pacific campaign

Everybody wants pacific, but as many people aware of, Japanese technology is somewhat inferior and crude and it would be painful to balance it properly. I mean, you have to fight off Sherman tanks with crappy Chi-ha and ‘valiant’ Banzai Charge.

And it’s not just about having better SMG or MG, but it’s about having totally different combat mechanism. Imperial Army was still obssessed with 19th century-Great War tactics and suicide Banzai attack while US military had advanced, modern tactics and superior weapon.

I’m not saying I don’t want to see it, I’m just saying Japs need both historical accuracy AND balanced weapons/tactics and it would be very hard job, for it’s unique unlike any other army in this game.

In fact, in Chinese front, Japanese overwhelmed Chinese with artillery/tanks, and Chinese charged with large swords and bayonets alike Japanese in Pacific front. Surely Japanese weapons were inferior to Americans, but also it is largely affected by inadequate reinforcements, supplies and equipment on isolated islands, too…

Well, problems of weapon’s balance would be significantly reduced in early-time Pacific war battles or early Sino-Japanese war.

Planes are probably the one thing no one needs to worry about in the Pacific, as War Thunder has pretty much balanced them all already, and while the American planes certainly outperform most Japanese planes CAS wise, the Japanese still arn’t slouches in that departmemt. Your biggest concern when it comes to balance is probably tanks and infantry equipment, as the Japanese did not field anything that can match the Garand or Sherman. You can draw on prototypes like the Type 4 Rifle, or bend history a bit and bring the Chi-Nu out, but still there will be other problems.

Japan vs China campaign. Problem solved.
