Pacific Campaign “What’s Missing?” A lot

The Pacific campaign is good so far, but it’s not “perfect.” It’s missing a few key components.

*Naval Combat was not just a novelty in The Pacific but a key aspect of claiming territory and islands.

Aviation combat: The combat is extremely lackluster. We are missing famous tactics such as Kamikaze planes which can be implemented by adding a Japanese plane that has a 2-3 stack use specifically for crashing into objectives with explosives. Planes need a major readjustment, they are slow, and underperform in attack and experience gain. Add more armorment to planes such as speed, torpedos, rockets and some sort of napalm, including stronger and wider area of affect strafing.

Boats as a vehicle: like the amphibious tank, add a boat with a crew that acts as a spawn point and is manned by an artillery squad. It would provide Artilelry and and Anti aircraft. Bigger boats can contest spawn points, forcing the other team to make use of amphibious tanks, boat against boat combat, or “naval combat” and giving planes an other objective besides infantry.

Maps: Add more naval friendly maps , and naval only maps. Add maps which require capturing a team major ship, forcing teams to use to the speed rafts to to get to point A and B.
