Pacific Campaign is garbage for Allies now

I lose more than win now for the allies. WTF did you do to ruin campaign for Allies?? I get that it was lopsided before for the Allies. All your so-called fixes did nothing but flipped it to the Axis being lopsided now. Can you not learn to balance anything?

It’s either a complete stomp in favour of the allies, or a complete stomp in favour of Japan.

To be frank, all values were correct BEFORE the update. The only real issue was that only one side was populated…

NA is always a allies pve
EU is japanese pve

You can win more or almost every battle as Allies on NA servers (considering you don’t have “skill issue” on your side), while playing on EU/EEU servers you will win more as Axis, that was/is the way to play this campaign, even before this so called “balance changes”, for me nothing has changed after the update (I play both sides, max campaign level).

BTW, players shifting sides or just moving to other campaigns is nothing new and shouldn’t surprise you, no “balance” changes can make a difference about it when players simply just leave the campaign side and play other side or something else. I remember as Allies Tunisia campaign was almost PvE after release for some time then it changed in favor of Axis side, later again for the Allies and again later for the Axis, it has been purely by players changing sides and not developers making “balance” changes, and this is what happens in Pacific right now.

I get that some people choose to play one campaign side over the other, but they could just make it so “Play both sides” option is the only default

I’m sorry it’s not super easy for you and you have to ACTUALLY try

allies suffer ? my games are quite balanced lately , especially when i put server choice on optimal … i know it must be difficult to play with all those OP annoying shitspam halftracks suddenly in flames around …try flying in plane sometimes  dont expect sympathy here as allied player just as axis one cant expect any

how can be one side so populated and other can not when there is enough players for all campaigns ? XD

thanks god the bots are more capable now, surely more capable than some lazy allied players that cant even bother to try

OH ?

allies had no need to complain about balance for a long time, campaigns were more populated for allied teams

thing is when allied player cry here or is offended , it usually ends up with QUICK FIX , or more buff for allies, or removal of decals from historically accurate axis vehicle

but when axis player cries his G41 reloads badly for 2 years now and cant have axis posters in game profile , then nobody cares

if there were not these crapped differences between what faction is favored most then i wouldn bother to complain about allied bias

Hell yeah. This campaign has turned to utter shit. I’m max level campaign, all the best squads fully decked out and I can’t even reach the first goddamn cap point in 95% of the games, yes, allies almost never gets to defend and even if we do, it doesn’t matter the slightest. It’s LITERALLY unplayable as allies for a number of reasons, the biggest one being that it doesn’t matter if you defend or if you attack. When on defense, the japs cap within, and i’m not fucking shitting you, 10 seconds after gaining a single AI soldier more than the US forces. When we are on attack, it’s the opposite. It feels like a 10 minute cap. Also, most of the time not being able to build spawn points closer than 70 meters and difficult terrain fucks it up even more. You can’t even build a spawn point before the japs have capped the VP you’re building it for if you’re lucky enough to get a defense match. It’s ridicilous. And don’t get me started on all the spawn issues when you happen to spawn within buildings and get stuck in the fucking floor, or your AI soldiers getting stuck beneath the building and torn apart by enemy fire within 1 second.

I’m about to give up on the campaign in total, and maybe even the game. It’s simply not fun anymore. I must’ve played at least 40 games the past week and I’m not lying, I’ve lost 99% of them. It’s totally unplayable. There is ZERO incitament in continuing to play after you hit max level, in fact, in hindsight there is ZERO incitaments in playing this campaign at all to begin with. NOTHING makes a difference. And it’s not just bad teams. I’ve been in tons of marshal teams facing mostly rank 1 players and we still lose, and we don’t just lose. We lose BADLY, like really bad and really quick. The only game I’ve won the past week as far as I can remember required nothing less than 100+ kills from 5 of my team players, and it went down to the fucking wire, last second victory.

So fuck it. Fuck this fucking game and fuck this fucking campaign in fucking particular. They might aswell remove it from the game. That’s how bad it has become.

PS. When I first started this campaign, it was the exact opposite. US won all the time, then came the “balance patch” and it turned into a shitfest, but the other way around. Clearly, “balancing” isn’t in Gaijins vocabulary or interest. Selling shit through useless micro transactions is however.

You mean like how the axis complained about the jumbo, t-60, every single allied Normandy air equipment except the c-10, the 1919a6, pretty much any Soviet infantry equipment ever… yeah I’m going to call them fucking skill issue; the reason why I say that the suffering side has skill issue is because, and this might be a shocker to you, skills matters more than equipment

Before starting arguing with Ricky, consider him extremly biased toward certain faction and retarded.
Also unpolite, illogical and “Skill Issue Enjoyer”…

Hey look no one asked.

jumbo is shit just becuase it is on early level in comparison to panther … why ? what can possibly endanger allied player so he needs jumbo this early ? and be sure if panther was on same level as jumbo then allies wiuld cry so much that it would be changed within week  for early players the normandy campaign remains still unbalanced imo

t-60 was bugged shit that had problem to explode just as t-50

oh you forgot A-20 in normandy, the general purpos damned plane that has turning circle of a helicopter and can even use its frontal cannons while german received ju-188 that for a goddamn long time could do nothin else only drop bombs without being able to defend itself properly … good counterpart

i will still complain of all MG that dont overheat and has more than 50 rounds

PPD, ppsh … yeah we done heard it all

the balens

none of this matters if you play with one noob and 8 bots against 5 players with braincell

thats why i consider the last AI update so important, because whether their #enoughplayersforallcampaigns
propaganda is true or not (which eventually is not) also matters less, and makes playing for both factions much more bearable (or has potential to make) i would make bots even more harder to play against

this game needs good bots that can drive vehicles too cause majority of playerbase play squad mode

another woody that wants lend leased leopard tank for better counter tiger E ?

thats okay and im just kidding now so no offense , but i have both factions in normandy maxxed so as long as both sides has enough players i have really no problem with neither of the two now

however the path to late level was many times a terrible grind filled with poor balancing decisions , guess its a fate of OBT tester

Well… yes and yes.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. The Japanese weapons BEFORE the update were already pretty strong, they just required a little different usage than what people seemed to be used to. Continuously buffing them is NOT the solution. The only thing that was holding them back was numbers, and people that understood the weapons functioned a little different.

The solution is to offer a bonus according to missing players, and display which side is short on players from the lobby. For each teammate short you are compared to the other team, you get a +25% bonus from all sources. This leads to both faster leveling with that faction on that campaign, as well as giving more logistics orders.

One of the reasons the Allies were so popular in Pacific is that it became known as an easy way to farm supplies as a fairly new player. For a lot of those players, a way to get further rewards would likely be an incentive large enough to balance it out.

I still remember that when the Japanese army was weaker, there were a lot of players who believed that it was just a matter of skill
Maybe now I can borrow their words

That would be an amazing method to get rid of at least half of the player base…

I suppose what goes around really comes around huh

Sorry but apart from Graywolfs Normandy trolling and partly Berlin, whats the reason behind this?

Is it just axis that find it pretty unfunny to have pixel hunters against tanks with nuke guns or 20 rounds SMGs against PPSh? Because it isnt. And looking at Normandy, it isnt for Allies either despite langer weakspots.

But yeah. The Allied trolls dont complain… except in Normandy and now in Tunisia… and sometimes Soviet mains if they had a bad time in Berlin.
