Pacific Campaign Improvements

  1. The problem of slowing down when soldiers enter the water - in other campaigns, the soldiers are slowed down a lot even in water at a depth where the speed of movement does not decrease. This increases the probability of being shot while traveling, which reduces the viability of the movement, and in order to prevent this, the speed of movement must not decrease in low water
  2. Absence of Assault Soldier 1 - Medical Soldier replaces Assault Soldier 1 and cannot carry a bag We need to take measures such as allowing the bags to be lifted in the squad upgrade Assault 2 is expensive to upgrade and it is problematic to force it just because of the bag
  3. The map is too open for defense. - The attack team is at a disadvantage because there are few obscuration water on the map and many rivers. The open map should be fixed by adding more trees or removing the speed of movement from the water.
  4. We need to reduce the number of communicators bombing requests. - If the communicator requests a bombing, no other communications will be available in the meantime Measures such as how to enable bombing on Communicator 2, not on Communicator 1, or separating bombing requests from general artillery
  5. We need the Nuff of the White Lean Grenade - White Lean Grenade is capable of extensive attacks, which is one of the factors that makes it difficult for the attacking team to take over We need to readjust the scope of the white phosphorus grenade
  6. The engineering structure needs to be adjusted - anti-aircraft guns are dangerous even to tanks and too great a danger to infantry Especially throughout the Pacific, the overall firepower is low, so we need to take measures to characterize the engineering structure (e.g., change it to a single-shot anti-aircraft gun) to reduce the firepower of the engineering structure

and change the Aa gun for allies, idk why americans still use german Flak

In real life, your speed will decrease even you are in low water, so maybe decrease less speed while in low water.

What do you mean? I think you currently can’t call artillery and airstrike when airstrike is being called.

So use it wisely. What do you mean attacking team to take over? You mean to take cover?

  1. I agree, seem to be slowed by even puddle depths and entering deep water to swim also seems too slow too, you have to take a few really slow steps before you can swim instead - even if the water is deep enough.

  2. Totally agree - medics shouldn’t replace assault 1, the squad upgrade options are no good either I almost always bring engineer and AT- instead only medics who can’t replace the bag or swap for a second weapon.

  3. This is where I disagree. Yes the maps etc favour defending - i.e. almost always Japan - however the equipment favours allies. This for me is what balances the campaign.

  4. I thought the same - however it was pointed out to me that if an air strike is called, it blocla artillery until complete.

  5. Again - I believe the attacking team should rightly be disadvantaged.

  6. Totally agree - AA guns are spammed, even if you can deal with them, it just gets boring that it’s the ā€˜go to’ tactic for so many.

I do agree on points 1. and 5.

  1. Assault Soldier 1 is DLC. Part of ā€œSpecial Landing Forcesā€ pack… :frowning:
  2. I think map needs more covers, probably not just trees but something big. Players have learnt where spawn points are and where to wait for enemies. Bushes aren’t useful because they block your vision and enemy AI can shoot trough them. They spot most covers.
Also there is very few places to make rally points while squads spawn by ā€œjumpingā€ up or rally points gets destroyed by bombing.
  3. Bombing should definetly have time limit and/or limited by team score. I think it should be balanced more for the defending side. Like attackers get bombing request every 5 minutes (for team) and defenders get them every 5 minutes or if they lose 100 points or sector.
  4. AA-guns should be part of Engineer II, and engineer squad could build just one. Armored vehicles and aircrafts are limited for whole team and then AA guns are built like they are made from sand, cheap and easy.
Or just limit AA guns for 2-3 per team.
