people just play it mainly coz its new. but somehow i feel the weapons are better on us Side, atleast for the way i play.

I can not play a faction that doesn’t even have one good BA
i would say that the japs will still have more of a playerbase than stalingrad and tunisia axis simply because it’s the only campaign with japan as well as having unique weapons

type 99 sights are similar to the type hei sights as it’s a ring around a metal post but type 99 is so fucking far back even when holding m2, also speaking of type hei; it’s pretty good when you fully upgrade it
Currently the type 38 carbine is my go to, fast at doing everything and pretty clean sights
it’s an horrible sight.
It’s dark metal and it got 3 spikes.
You have find an ennemy, aim, look which sight is the good one, they are all dark, which mean you can aim if you are targeting a window.

Type 99 is the only way to go. The other BA are useless.

Seriously. All the BA, SMG, LMG are just worth grinding just to see the game behind.
Problem of tunisia, stl, and moscow is axis playerbase streched too thin. Cream of axis players are in normandy. Japan only have 1 campaign for now. I hope devs will not make the same mistake as other and start “fronts” instead of sole campaigns.

Those people are not elites, they only went to Normandy to slaughter AI. In fact, they don’t even want to stop the enemy from occupying strategic points. They just want to use machine guns and tanks to get more kills in very far places.If there are 3 or 4 players on the allied side actively participating in the battle, then the Axis will be vulnerable.

I tried the Type 99 in mission editor. Its rear sight is an aperture and front sight is a wide-ish triangle
On this, I will agree.
I am a Bolt lover 100%, but the 38 and Type 1 are absolute garbage. I am a halfway decent shot but it was really a struggle to line up.
I’m still on and off with the SMGs as well.
That being said I got the 99 as well, bought 20, fully upgraded them, and I am not looking back. They are amazing bolts.
Last match tonight I had 44 kills alone on my 9 man squad. Was quite fun.
The grenade thrower type 38 has a different sight.
in my experience japs seem to aim fine.
