Pacific axis is unplayable

japan is in no way nearly ready for BR5. it needs at least 10 to 15 pieces of equipment plus vehicles to even have a chance.

which means, knowing how we do things here, they will push it to BR5 anyway, with totally subpar gear for that fight, which in turn means the tide will turn and USA will farm japan. again. as happened before. and before. etc.

i’ve been doing br4 solo japan for this event and the only time i’ve felt outgun was against the jumbo but that also marked him as an HVT

Yeah, it’s a submachine gun. Of course it’s only effective around 50 feet or so.

And to repeat my comment, the tank is the only confirmed one. Obviously they’re planning to give the Japanese team some kind of M2 counterpart instead of expecting them to fight in BR5 with shitty Garand copies

There is/was a lot of new stuff to grind for Japan after the update. For those of us who had everything (in every campaign) before the merge, the amount to grind in Japan was much more than other factions so that’s part of why you see more players there. It will change.

i wouldnt say no to a 30 round full auto type hei to counter the m2. but they probably will give it 15 round mag, 250 ROF, 2 spare mags, and call it a day.

I mean high level Japanese SMGs are rather nice, but BR5 usually has select fire weapons and assault rifles.

the Toyoko arsenal is pretty for a good distance and has extremely little recoil especially when fully upgraded

I have no idea what the alpha testers are even good for at this point they don’t even try to break the game

I went in with a BR4 Line up and I can do this type of stuff so Japanese are kind of screwed

the paratrooper disparity between the USA ones (100 round thompsons, full squad with vickers, etc etc) and the poor japanese lads with em bolt rifles couldnt be more extreme. its one of the many pieces japan needs to compete in BR5.

they could just give them bamboo spears and the imbalance ratio wouldnt change much.

The Japanese do not belong in BR5 just leave it as a starter faction

Exactly! They don’t have enough gear, not that is was good, to fight the entire US.

doesn’t belong yes, but they are steaming ahead with the completely fictional ho-ri “production” which will have the gun of the tiger 2 and more frontal armor than tiger 2; i have a solution, we make br5 japan it’s own queue so br 4 japan doesn’t have to worry about fighting br5 yanks

Maybe they can make another map for the Pacific on the attack on Pearl Harbor is another Starter map for new players

a nice idea, and a solid plan!! but seeing how they didnt even dislodged BR3 from BR1 (lol) and BR5 (lol, but the other way around), i dont see that happening in the near future. near, as in 5 years, give or take.

Dragging them into BR5 is making more problems than it solves so it’s probably better to leave them is a low level faction

hey it’s better than the doom and glooming that is happening right now though japan does have the special queue that prevents them from going into br 5 so they probably could make it work

again the devs are going ahead with a fictional tank, never even left the blueprints let alone the production line, which is 100% br 5 material so we have to think of solutions to it

RB will be the stats of the ho-ri production brought to you by the sister game "war thunder"

How about NOT try to force a country into br 5 whose gears cannot compete in any shape or form ?
I miss the old times when common sense was a thing in this community

At all BRs I might add

It’s ironic considering you people added M2 Carbines to the Pacific campaign pre-merge; what were you people thinking?
