Pacific AT rifle

Japanese AT rifle: 7 round, semi-automatic, 20mm weapon of mass destruction, that can pen any allied armor from the from the front, and can be used as a shoulder fired anti air weapon.
Allied AT rifle: 5 round, 55. cal, bolt action that can only pen the Ta-Se reliably.

Totally balanced.

Allies still have way better tanks, Japs have better AT weapons.

But still japanese tanks sucks so much with their MGs (mags on 20 shots, and it’s not working from gunner’s view, unlike T-28’s MGs) and armor…are they serious?

Pacific allied planes are terrible. Sure the Dauntless have 1200 lbs payload, but it also have 10.97 m/s climb rate. It’s altitude will be below 300 with about 200 TAS by the time it is right above the combat area; this make the Dauntless a very easy target to shoot down. In Tunisia it’s quite useful as it get air spawn. The Japanese attacker have nearly doubled the climb rate of the Dauntless. This allied fighter is worst in comparison to the Japanese Zero.

As for tanks the Japanese now have the Chi Ha Kai, its 47mm main gun is better than the M3 37mm main gun.

The allied have better pistol, LMG, HMG, launcher, sniper rifle, semi-auto rifles.

Both are more than enough to kill anything you will face with relative ease. And you get the M1 and Type 5 relatively quicky, making both obsolete. Also, the Japanese really went all out on their ATRs, and the Type 97 is the only ATR they ever actually used (they did trial the Solothorn S18-100, but that’s still a semi-automatic ATR).

You can always, not climb directly to the target, and do a dog leg approach to gain more altitude.

You are right, but the plane a bit too slow in my opinion. I usually take off, drop the bombs to get a bit more climb rate then head directly to the rearm point, and finally to the battle field.

IDK, the Stuarts keep their small 37mm but the Japanese get bigger guns on their tanks.

And allies get boys ATR that can pen all jap tanks, your point?

Boys ATR shouldn’t have been there at all if the Brits aren’t there as well.

But regarding the balance, US have way better tanks in Pacific, so it is balanced that way.

The Allies have better tanks and equipment

thats a massive skill issue from you

Best of their tank guns either premium or obtainsble on events (Chi-Ha 47 and 57mm)

The Brits took part in the pacific battles, like Australia, and they have an AT-Rifles unlike americans

The Marines Raiders got their hands on some Boys ATRs early on in the war and by all accounts they liked them.

Just look at the difference of tanks alone though:

  • Allies first tank completely covers the front of the gunner, plus its twin 12.7mm guns… you can shred infantry, planes, even tanks with it.

  • The second Ally tank is completely covered, and has MGs that can be used by the commander, and have decent magazine capacity.

Have you played as the Japanese yet?

  • Their first tank has the heads of the gunners sticking out the top at all times. A sniper can kill them in the SPAWN, let alone them trying to push up at all. Its a magazine autocannon, and is really not that effective against much of anything.

  • Their second tank SHOULD be better, but its only advantage is the gunners aren’t sticking out the top. There is no ā€œcommanderā€ slot. The cannon is ONLY useful against tanks. You have to switch seats to use the MG on the front, which only has a 20 round magazine, and it takes an average of 5-7 hits to kill a single soldier. There is a MG on the back of the turret that isn’t even functioning. If it were, it MIGHT make a difference.

THAT is why the Japanese AT rifle is a little bit better.

They fire ā€œAPHEā€ though, rather than AP or HE. Meaning they don’t have the option of anti-infantry with the cannon, unless its a direct hit.
In addition, the Ha-go at least doesn’t have a commander slot. This means you have to switch seats to access the cannon OR the MG. Both of which are absolutely terrible.

That’s why they should be able to fight on Pacific maps after the update, but unfortunately I don’t think they will.

Didn’t know that. It kinda makes sense now I guess.

As always people are lying that US is better while in reality JP is superior especially after couple of buffs. They have op AT rifles, amazing Chi-ha Kai, Chi-Ha and Ka-Chi. They have only scoped lmg in a game which is pretty stable, they have type 100 smg which is way more usable than any american smg at mid ranges due much lower recoil. At launchers doesn’t matter since AT rifle can pen anything. Planes of both nations are unusable due how slow they are so who cares if allies have bigger bomb. Sniper rifles are better on us side, all semi autos sucks US have 8 ammo in clip but too big recoil (it got overnerfed) while JP have 5 ammo with much smaller recoil but dmg is not enough. BAR and Johnson LMG are only top tier US really has in their arsenal.

Huh? JP have both APHE and HE plus Chi-ha kai has also mg so you can easily deal with both tanks and infantry, it’s not even funny how op JP is in this game and with new MM they will be even stronger.

Those trash vehicles doesn’t matter for a lot of people, since you can buy Pacific premium access with Ka-Chi (47mm) and could grind Chi-Ha Kai (47mm) or buy premium Chi-Ha (57mm). All those 3 completely dominate US tanks no matter what us spawns they will get destroyed instantly. Plus even if they manage to kill you then you can take op Type 97 AT rifle and just spam AP rounds and murder all crew members with zero effort from 150m with no way to counter.

I mean, the Boys can rip through a Ha-Go like a can-opener. You just gotta aim. :upside_down_face:
