IMO, this plane is over kill with a rating of just 2, If we had the P38E in game I could see an argument being made for a rating of two, but the G model was really a mid-war plane, and has to much advantage over most Axis Tier one and two planes to be set against them.

Let alone I just had one basically win a game on it’s own in the pacific, I couldn’t do anything vs it in an A5M4 due to how slow that plane is.

And it air starts, the P38’s in the pacific so it has a huge advantage just because of that.
IMO, all planes should air start or all should CV start to make it fair.

Yeah there is really no reason to ever take a carrier launched aircraft now due to the massive disadvantage that they have.

It’s like the axis 109 F2, being BR2, very suspect and really helps in low Tier matches. Then again Beaufighter is to high imho, should be BR3

Ya, Tier 1 is a bit nuts for that ride, Tier III imo, it very deadly, and carry’s a decent and useful bombload.
