1.This plane cannot effectively attack enemies on the ground.
2.This plane is bad at aerial warfare.

37mm machine guns cannot cause fatal damage to enemy planes, regardless of distance.

Who can buy a plane that can’t even play a role at such a high price?

What cannon it uses? At berlin soviet ns-37 seems doing fine againts planes and is decent when firing at ground just blindly

I think it uses the stock belt from War Thunder, which is 50/50 HE and AP, so you might need a couple of hits to ensure a hit with the correct shell.
the Soviet P-63 is a lend-lease vehicle, it uses the lower 610m/s muzzle velocity US M4 37mm cannon, not the higher 880m/s velocity NS-37 cannon on the Yak-9T. They are very different cannons.

Yes the Soviet largecaliber aircraft cannon are considerably better than the US ones.
But according to the WT wiki the cannon supplied to the USSR only had HE rounds - no AP was supplied.
One of the problems in WT with the US 37mm is that its ballistics are very different from the .50 cal, so the aiming points are completely different… but you only get 1 - I forget which - but which ever it is, the other gun(s) is(are) completley missing the target!
The 37mm 63 round p63 cannon in War Thunder has been nerfed so many times in WT. Typicaly it is a one shot kill for fighters and bombere if you know where to aim do to explosice filler. These started out as HE tank rounds for the army. I am wondering dose it get the 3 x 250 kg FAB?
This is a fun aircraft but very inefficient.
The absence of bombs and HE munitions makes it exclusively an air superiority fighter. However the slow firing rate of the American .50 cals, coupled with the even slower 37mm (which seems to fire solid slugs) make for a much slower and inconsistent time to kill when compared to other premium planes or even aircraft found in the Russian tech tree. In comparison, the FW 190 D-9, Hawker Tempest and the Kai-61-l are all effective in strafing infantry, bombing tanks and downing aircraft. If a premium aircraft’s price in gold was an accurate reflection of how effective it is in battle, this thing should only sell for 500 gold. It desperately needs HE munitions and bombs to compete with these other aircraft. The King Cobra might be the worst aircraft in the game, solely because of its poor armament… or lack there of.
