So I was flying in P-51 Mustang for like 10 minutes. Then the engine started loosing power. In the end the engine went off comppletely. Is that because I ran out of fuel? And why is there no option to land and refuel?

Absolutely not. Not a single hit in my plane.
Actually found a note on the latest update news. " * Aircraft can be refueled at the mid-air reload points." So yeah looks like you ran out of fuel. Tbh I didnt even noticed we have fuel for planes.

Either the refueling doesn’t work on P-51 or it runs out of fuel in 2 minutes. P-38 and P-51 are useless anyways though at least compared to the German counterparts.
I’ve run out of fuel in the P-51 three different times. This happens even though I am constantly getting to the re-load points about once every 90 seconds to 2 minutes.
This also happened to me, last night, while I was in a fight with a 109. The engine lost power, prop stopped spinning, and I’d not even taken a hit.
I ended up landing and running behind a building out in BFE, so the 109’s bomb wouldn’t get to me.
It isn’t fuel, it’s the engines burning up. Plane has over an hours worth of gas by default. Same issue befalls the A20G and some other airplanes in other campaigns. Don’t run the engine at max throttle all the times, 99% is more than enough on a Mustang unless the enemy 109s decide to only play vertical
