Love this plane.
Right now there is only a P40 in Stalingrad.
It got 6x12.7mg. Which is overpowered compared to 20mm because of the server lag and false hit indicator problem.
In WT it can carry a little payload.
It could be a nice little fighter in late war campaign and an overpowered plane in early war campaign.

Historically they did operate out of Guadalcanal, later in 43 the Royal New Zeland Air Force also fly from Gudacanal with them, but their deployment was after the fighting had ended and the island was secured, the E model would be appropriate for the timeframe which did have the six 50. call’s in the wings, But the B model was still in service and some numbers in the Pacific, so it could be found or argued as time appropriate given the early model aircraft that we have in the game currently.
All of these early model US aircraft with 50 caliber machine guns are likely over modeld in terms of their effectiveness, early war US 50 caliber Aircraft machine guns suffered from lower rate of fire and reliability issues, typically the general rule is that a 20 mm gun is at least twice as effective as a 50 caliber that depends a lot on what you’re shooting at well, Japanese aircraft tended to be lightly armored early war, that would change later in the war though.
American Volunteer Group Flying Tigers & the Guadalcanal Hawks would make a perfect entry.
