When I have AT soldier with anti-tank rifle, I would like to use AT rifle as a primary weapon and only have pistol as a secondary. Same thing with flamethrower soldiers. But game forces me to also pick a “primary weapon”. Could you please make it optional to have primary weapons for AT/flamethrower soldiers so I can just use special weapon (AT rifle, launcher or flamethrower) + pistol/revolver?
That would be lovely. and also, I want my soldiers at lobby with their AT weapons either just as old times.
As far as I know it’s impossible because AI has to have a rifle. It just can’t use other weapons.
The same goes for flamethrowers etc.

I’m always up for more realistic patches. (Like the BA buff) So I’d welcome such a thing making a AT guy or flamethrower guy only carry a pistol as a secondary and nothing more (along with their bazooka and flamer)
As long as they don’t start wasting all their rockets or fuel at will when they see enemies 500m away…
I’m ok with that BUT the secondary pistol slot needs to come already unlocked for their soldier class, respectively

They can use almost all weapons. But it seems that bots with flamethrowers and AT weapons have reduced firing range.
