Option to "climb down safely", and ladders for engineers

It would be cool if we had an option to climb down an appropriate ledge safely (obviously no crazy climbing down from roofs)
Also it would be great if engineers could build ladders

Wow a simple ladder would super useful maybe game breaking but who cares more power to the engineers mains!!!

I think it would be cool but I can already imagine the amout of exploit. People would discover new place to hide where nobody should be able to acces. Sniping you from the ceiling and playing spiderman.

While concept might look nice, giving option to build ladder might be abusable.
Maybe adding option to restore destroyed ladder instead might work?
