And new players who join the game today wonāt even see the Customs tab, but āOperation BSā instead.

Finally done event, Soviet Assulter squad red dawn, cannot change secondary weapon, so I have to use in BR5? All others could be allocated into different BRs, I main BR4ā¦ please allow us to change secondary.
Error message says must selct secondary weapon in updgrades but it already is???

That has to be some kind of bug.
I immediately changed squad upgrade to backpack. And then I was able to change his primary weapon. So I really donāt see why you shouldnāt be able to change his secondary weapon.
I can change primary np at all, secondary stuck with BR5 Fed, I want this squad in my BR4 lineup, I have NKV assulters already in BR5
And did you try to move the secondary weapon to primary slot and then change it?
Restarting the game could also help.
That worked! If I changed weapon in primary to what I wanted swapped for secondary, I could have my second PPD, bit of a long winded way but now able to put in BR4 Cheers! (Maybe restarting did it, as I got no error anymore? when double clicking secondary slot)

I paid for event and I dont feel like playing done 10 stages might buy last 20 stages the way they did this event is very bothersome like why couldnt you make a normal event that didnt require you to pay to get everything and that could be done in normal matches

Yesterday I maxed out the event BP (with premium pass).
Not enthusiastic about it. Iām glad that Iām done. I probably wonāt play the event anymore.
As much as the mission format brings an appreciated breeze of variety, and arranging the event as a battlepass isnāt necessarily a bad thing, the implementation and the scoring system spoil most of the fun.
- Several people already expressed their perplexity about allowing event-themed gear in the main game, so I wonāt go over that again.
- IIRC, this is the first event in which some rewards are totally paywalled. This sets a bad precedent.
- The āpay to progress fasterā system applied to events sets another bad precedent too. Itās an obvious path towards a more aggressive monetisation scheme, making the grind for events progressively unbearable UNLESS one pays, or plays an unhealthy amount of time.
Moreover, for some reason the scoring system seems specifically designed to concentrate the highest possible number of features that we DIDNāT like in old events, and thus with time were progressively ruled out:
- High reliance on other playersā actions.
- 1 hour+ mandatory daily playtime (since daily tasks āspend X time in the eventā are one of the main sources of score and progress).
- Finding tokens, the main sources of progress, is (to variable extents) tied to RNG. The progress granted by completing objectives is just negligible.
- No win = no score. 20-30+ minutes matches can result in no tangible progress regardless of personal effort.
Next, a personal opinion. I like to shoot zombies just like anyone else, BUT. Two of the aspects that got me hooked to Enlisted were/are its distinctive gunplay with very low TTK, and the relative lack of consequences for dying. This event ditches them both, making me run for my life from hordes of enemies (lest losing all my current progress), some of which can tank more bullets than I would shoot in a whole conquest match. It is NOT ENLISTED, and I therefore partially regret getting engaged in the event by buying premium BP, because due to the high playtime requirements (see above) I basically ended up forcing myself to play a different game I donāt really enjoy as much. It got repetitive soon, and now Iām quite burnt out.
Also, the reward soldiers should probably have been awarded as individual soldiers, instead of being squads. I guess the technical reason was to allow unusual loadouts like the engineer with MG, but still.

At the end of the day I for one did really enjoy the āAprilās Foolsā Zombie-Event a lot more than this one (especially since it ran a lot better with no crashes etc.). It just āfeltā better and played better, even if it was just one āstaticā map (then again if you look at the VERY iconic āNacht der Untotenā COD map - which to this day in my opinion is still the apex for zombie-modes, both in regards to mechanics, layout, playstyle and overall look - it is not that bad).
While in general I also do enjoy fighting zombie waves (if the mechanics, layout and gameplay are good and āfittingā), I have to confess that I disliked most of what people have already mentioned in this thread.
At the end of the day it was a nice effort (with the maps and demons), but the execution was not nearly as good and fun to play as the āApril Foolsā Zombie event. Would like more of the latter and less of the former

Well, I unlocked the German soldier profile picture, Iām probably done with the event now since I have 3/4 of the squads (all of the ones I want, the only squad thatās sitting in my lineup is the German guy since heās the only Engineer class that can carry an MG iirc).
Iām probably done with the event as I already have the rest of the āspecialā guns as TT variants and have no real reason to get them.
yep. as adam said, cosmetics are based on squads rather than individual soldiers.
hence why to make what they wanted to do, they opted for a squad. much easier and faster.
but for the rest, i agree.
cool in theory, made aweful in practice ( kinda leaning on the " made on purpose side ")
As someone who doesnāt like shooting zombies, I really hope we get an event thatās not zombies for the 3rd time, or moon battle for the 3rd time, or mech walkers or other sci-fi stuff.on April foolās 2025.
I really preferred the more grounded events like Modern Combat and Gun Game.
