My biggets problem is with the japanese samurai armor. It is just too much

nobody believes that samurai armor was provided to ww2 troops
although i wouldnt be surprised that infantry soldiers who owned the armor would use it for morale purpose.

Not much, other than the fact that they were developed in the 20s and 30s and were used in China. This type weighed about 9lbs with a thickness of about 0.08". Some Chinese information suggested that these were developed against the Chinese dadao units but I would take that with a pinch of salt (but does explain why they were mostly deployed in China).

i thought you get 1 to use for main game as well?
Once you unlock them on the event pass, or for example purchase rd on shop, you can use them on normal game and custom matches.
