I’ve tried to stick with the game but I think imma bow out. Of the many reasons… I think this finally killed it for me. Seeing this nonsense carry over to the main game is beyond asinine. I wanted to play a unique WW2 shooter back in early 22 not this amalgamation of a game. It will slowly snowball from here with the team still prioritizing $$ over making a game fun. Good luck boys and girls I’m uninstalling.

Darkflow obviously has the ability to do a good job on skin. But the skin he gave you can never be shared with other soldiers.
Jesus Christ, some of you are being so dramatic. Interesting to leave the forum for a while and come back to see nothings changed. Probably gotten worse.
First point. It really isn’t that big of a deal. All the guns just have cloth and blood on them. Things you could definitely see on a period weapon. Is it super historical? No. But to have a meltdown and claim that gold, COD-style skins are what’s coming next is just plain idiotic.
The ONE exception is the tank. That one looks pretty dumb. And I’m not opposed to having a toggle to hide it. That’s perfectly reasonable. Throwing temper tantrums is not reasonable.
Second point. Do you mean to tell me that you are actually paying attention to every gun you come across? I know damn well you aren’t already, and you’re not about to start. If an enemy starts charging at you, you’re not going to sit there, see his bloody, clothed gun and throw a fit, no, you’re gonna shoot him like you do every other time.
It’s not like these a bright, gold skins that scream “look at me!” It’s literally just the base weapon with blood and shit on it. The tank however, that will be noticed easier, but I already talked about that.
Don’t even get me started on the people projecting that they’re gonna leave the game because of this. Nobody cares

nobody believes that samurai armor was provided to ww2 troops
although i wouldnt be surprised that infantry soldiers who owned the armor would use it for morale purpose.

Not much, other than the fact that they were developed in the 20s and 30s and were used in China. This type weighed about 9lbs with a thickness of about 0.08". Some Chinese information suggested that these were developed against the Chinese dadao units but I would take that with a pinch of salt (but does explain why they were mostly deployed in China).

Ah. Forget to mention that. Yeah it’s a little goofy for sure. Not terrible for me since it’s not like he’s wearing modern day BDUs and plate carriers. Like you could hypothetically see that. But it’s still a little weird.
