You can increase the length of the playing area by copying and moving the arena part and adjusting the area for player 2 (drivers) so they can drive around the arena but can’t get into the capture area
You can also change the obstacles, these have to be climbable so that the runners can take shelter or slow them down a bit, it is advisable to put them 3 or 2 and a half cement slabs apart, to give the drivers space to jump and so that the runners have a challenge.
