I achieved the rank of Marshall not too long ago and was not impressed by the imbalance of the reward. When you earn the rank of Marshal you receive a Normandy Allies hero. For someone that primarily plays Axis this is quite a disappointment. Why not make two options: either an Allies hero, or an Axis hero? Same goes for events where the only possible reward is an Allies hero. It is for this reason that I haven’t even bothered to participate in several events…the rewards were simply not applicable to me. Every reward should have its counterpart both for Allies and Axis.

Next BP, the marsh’ reward might be for axis 🤷
Same principle with last event rewarding crack spec ops with silencers for axis in Normandy.
I think it will vary from time to time. A good opportunity to enjoy every factions.

You misunderstood.
What keo meant, was that the ranks will RESET ALONG THE NEW BP.
Rewards won’t be tied to rank in the bp. They will just refresh at the same time.

By “linking” rank to bp, I’m sure he meant that the ranks gets reset every new bp. Like it’s written right now on the rank page.
It says we will all get reset to lieutenant rank I believe, at next BP.
For the rest I hope rewards will NOT get tied up to rank. Especially because they make us BUY the battle pass…

Maybe it will just boost your proggress of BP or we will get new option to earn extra stuff (like gold orders or something else)
well i would rather they award bad playerbase teams with marshal and event awards. now everyone is playing axis on normandy and there are very few allies (at least on EU/EEU). getting extra rewards for allies might migrate some of the players to actually play allies in normandy.
There have been several events where the only reward (other than silver orders or something similar) were Normandy Allies Hero. I don’t think more of that is necessary.
