On the squad specialist upgrades

I am referring to the squad upgrades that allow you to have assaulters, engineers, snipers, etc. in regular squads. As of now you can only get one specialist per “node”. That is fine; however I would like if you could unlock all of the specialist (after leveling your squad up and unlocking them) but only use 1 per node. Example in a flamethrower squad you could
use 2 engineers
or
1 radiomen and 1 engineer
or
1 assaulter and 1 engineer

i agree with you, though i think that should also extend to personel upgrades (the backpack or the secondary)

I truly wouldn’t mind my few accumulated “specializing cards” become useless and we get more freedom to customize like you propose.

Meta is changing as new things are added, things are nerfed, or buffed.

Used to be useless to bring a shotgun, but now they are fun to use again. Not op, but usable. So some people could want to switch the BACPACK option for a second gun to use it, for example…

Customization freedom is always a good thing.

It would be nice to have an option to sacrifice squad levels, to switch a node, like the perk system.
This would in my eyes balance it between players need for customisation and the devs need for earning money.
(i think this idea was postet before by someone else, since i liked it, here is it again)

In my opinion the secondary weapon slot is worse than the backpack in every situation other than maybe having a shotgun.
