For example, the Bf 109 K-4 has 13mm MG and 30mm autocannon. When I use the lead indicator to aim for enemy plane, does the 13mm actually hit, or the 30mm?
As far as I know, it should be set for the higher muzzle velocity one, which is the 13mm MG in this case.
Yeah, on the BF-110 G2, the sight is set to the 3.7 cm gun, which makes it incredibly annoying to aim at planes.
the gun with the highest velocity, so the 13mm
Would it be able for the deves to change that?
Unless your plane only has a single type on weaponry on it you rarely get the indicator to actually be usefull.
But since almost all axis fighter have 7mm or 13mm in additionto the 20mm they never get the fully usefull indicator unlike the US planes that only have 6 50 cals but got a 100% accurate indicator since there is no other gun types on their planes.
You realize it is an INDICATOR yes? Not a guarantee? If you aren’t getting hits then adjust your aim. Easy to land german 20mm hits if you aim just a little further ahead like towards the tip of the indicator.
