Hello, Veteran Soldiers of Enlisted and new recruits who are just starting to play the game!

I’m making this suggestion on behalf of all of us. I don’t know how many of you will agree with me or with this idea, but here it goes.

I’ve been playing this game since it first launched. I was a bit surprised at how it looked and how it was made. I actually really liked it from the beginning. In fact, I started playing a lot because I truly enjoyed the game. Of course, I took some breaks here and there. You know how it goes, too much gaming can make you bored and not want to play anymore.

But every time I came back, I came back excited and ready to play again and again. One thing I found really interesting was the old Campaign system. I’m not saying the current version isn’t good, it’s actually pretty nice, but to be honest, the old Enlisted felt better in some ways. Sure, there was more grind, and it took more effort to farm for a weapon or a specific squad, but that kind of challenge was fun in its own way.

I’d really love to see campaigns brought back for each faction. I assume that, like in any game, the developers do look at player suggestions. I hope that’s the case here too and maybe they’ll consider doing something like what we had in the beginning.

I believe that the merge was a great step forward in having 1 tech tree for each faction instead of 6 or whatever it was with constant repetition.

Id have never been able to use all the weapons I do were it not for the merge.

However I agree with the ability to choose the sorts of battles we want.

Hence I made a post about introducing theatres.

So we keep the current ONE tech tree per faction.

And then categorise maps via theatre, based on real life.

Different theatres would naturally be available to different factions as appropriate.

Eg.
Europe
‘Desert War’
Eastern Front
Pacific

Well, if they do they certainly don’t react to them, and if they do it seems to take years.

After the merger campaign, many historical issues left over from the past still haven’t been resolved to this day. It’s hard to imagine that it was not until recently that the Soviet Union could obtain semi-automatic rifles in BR2, and that BR3 could be separated from BR5. The thought of going back to the past comes naturally. It seems that this game can neither move forward nor backward. Some people call it “War Thunder - ization”.

Just make the game more fun by fixing the queue system to 1-2,3-4 and 5 and make more maps. We already have enough guns in the game!

Very good points and very true. I dont want to go back to pre merge with all these different tech trees but yeah we arent moving forward at all and it’s not good.

Many of the necessary changes the excuse is “oh there’s not enough players” hmmm yeah I wonder why, it’s cause people are leaving cause the game is boring and stale now.
There’s little new content to attract new players and as you said issues that havent been fixed in literally years.

I agree though there are some significant omissions like the Lee Enfield Jungle carbine, Lewis gun for Allies, M3 Halftrack for Allies and 20 round Thompson for BR II.

Last night I read that even RAAF Catalina flying boat crews were issued with a 20 round Thompson SMG.
