Kar98k should be buffed to be like Type 38 rifle.
It’s an expression and for those of us who look through this stat sheets religiously they would know what I’m talking about.

I thought you were insane when I first read the title,
But you could make it work, you’d need a MG 0 squad for it though, that or make BR1 MG squads unable to build HMGs and instead they get the MG nests that engineer 2 gets.
Though now you gotta ask, what’s everyone’s BR1 MG,
Germans - (?)
Soviets - Madsen (Whats their BR2 MG now?)
Allies - (?)
Japan - Type 11(?)(Seem a little strong but thats fine with how bad their BR1 tanks are)
As for a 50rn MG34 at BR2, that is absurdly powerful, I mean against the soviets fine, but the allies will absolutely suffer if people cycle MG squads at BR2, especially when their defending. Perhaps you could balance this by moving the M1918 BAR to BR2 as well since tbf that already belongs at BR2.
It needs more discussion, however I would absolutely be up for proper asymmetrical balance.

they could just buff the MG13 to have less horizontal recoil making it shoot in a straight line instead of missing a shot every 3 bullets. Also I recently played vs a guy in BR2 body armor and he managed to take out 2 of my guys while I had shot first both time with a 3 star mp38 so maybe body armor could only be used in br3 and above and if some reason they’re playing br2 with body armor it wont give them the buff or a reduced % of protection using it
The MG-34 is already easily the best BR3 LMG and you want it down in BR2???

Greedy and insatiable, the MG13 and ZB26 are undoubtedly the best machine guns in the BR2, while the MG34 is a very powerful weapon even in the BR3.

In all reality, the KE7 and BAR should be moved down to BR II instead, as they are basically the same guns as the MG 13, just with slight differences.

It comes down to a simple observation. Germany’s weapons, tanks and planes are made with defensive not offensive goals. No matter how much you wanted it can’t be changed. in order for germany to win players and squads must go on defensive measures mostly and less offensive. Offensive should be done if its a invasion or something like that but still apply the defensive measures and way forward.
Oh right, german never was on offense.
Dunno, guns made out of stamped steel by people that considered the outhouse to be last achievable goal of technology.
But oddly, they can have dispersion values of sniper rifle.

Breda .30. Alternatively, add Madsen since the Germans and the Hungarians used it.
Add Land-Leased Bren for them, not like Soviets are not used to land-lease copy+past anyways. If that is too much, just add prototype clip-fed DP-27 for BR2.
Vickers-Berthier. Or add Chauchat.

If germany was supposed to be defencive then why dont they armor them up until the panther comes along?
its currently BR3 so against sovjets its hardly a problem due to them having fair share of weapons at br2 that already qualifies as BR3.
Dunno, mostly people using MG squad in any BR is doing it just for heavy mg.
But move the BAR what ever it was to BR2, slight adjustment to movement and its fine.
Then again, allies already have better smg’s that are pretty much the meta of low BR so not exactly sure why they would even need a MG.
As well as I dont really get the idea here, why sovjets / murrica have to have equal MG ?
Both got BR3 smgs moved or added to BR2 while GE didnt really get anything.

Kind of agree, but thank god theres no SMG’s on soviet arsenal at BR2 that competes with BR3 equipment statwise.
Would be horrible if there was actually guns on GE arsenal that are better than theyr enemies

Because they are used to get everything they want as devs really spoiled them with power creeping content ever since the merge, while the most exiting additions for germany where largely relegated to reskins of already existing weapons.
