Gaijin Distribution KFT published War Thunder, Crossout, Star Conflict, and CRSED: FOAD (Darkflow’s other game and Enlisted prototype) on Steam while Gaijin Network Ltd only published the upcoming Steam release of Enlisted. So, why there are two different Gaijin publisher?
Most likely branches from two different countries/regions, but I’m too lazy to verify my assumption.
Is registered in Hungary, while
Is registered in Cyprus
Probably the classic, register your company in the country that taxes you the least.
That couldn’t be true since Cyprus has 12.5% corporate tax while Hungary has 9% corporate tax. I could be wrong tho.

My guess is that it has something to do with the fact that WT was developed and published by Gaijin themself while the othere games are not developed by Gaijin but by more or less independet developers (for example Darkflow) and gaijin is just the one supporting them with the money/publishing it.
Due to the inherent risk of such a project it might be better to split that of from their primary cash cow to limit the damage a failed game would be able to do to it.
Plus cyprus seams very attractive to companys with shady parctices that might make plenty of use of greyzones in the legal system. On an unrelated note wargaming is based in Cyphrus aswell so there defenitly is something very appealing to chosing cyprus for an HQ.
Edit: I just saw that it was only enlisted with the new Gaijin so half of what I said doesnt even make sense anymore but maybe the othere half is still right.
Just reading up on the subjuect it seams that cyprus is extremly attractive as a tax haven as it has a low corporate tax of 12.5% and only 4.25% to offshore branches while having a favorable legal situation there.
