I played Oasis ± 15 times so far from both attacker and defender side and from both directions and I’ve yet to see attackers win not to mention that when attacking from the southwest I have yet to see attackers cap even the the first cap.
So my suggestion is to add more hard cover for attackers like small buildings and make the map border less restrictive to allow attackers flank.
It’s possible to win as attackers, but requires your entire team to have brains.
I’ve only had that happen once in about 5 games unfortunately.
The maps difficulty is a player intelligence issue in my opinion.
Try using the rider squad. Getting down a quick rally and hitting their flank from the start of the match helps your bot teammates not get gunned down as quickly coming straight up the middle, which nearly all of them do sadly.
Yes, the only time I have seen attackers win that map is when there’s people joining and playing together as a team. There are many that are almost impossible to win for attackers unless they’re already superior and stacked either with higher levels, more players or a team playing together.
No there is no matchmaking, no balance, to make thing worse, “better” player, I mean by skill and getting higher XP than bots, often just leave if they see that the other team has also “better” players … .
This is one of the few maps where transport vehicles are actually essential for attackers. Have an engineer or more on the kubelwagen, jeep, bus or even a motorcycle if any around then put a rally point on a safe flank preferably inside a house to open a new flank to the team.
and to make it worse, better players join together with friends so they will be 4 good players against your soloing ass. doesn’t matter how good you are, you can’t beat 4 good players. It’s the worst thing about this game, allowing almost 50% of the enemy team to be a squad of friends. It’s ok in battlefield when its 64 player teams, but insanely unbalanced in a 10vs10
Yep just played it again as attacker. You have one corridor to attack. Right side out of bounds. Left side is the dunes. Frontal assault is the only option. If enemy has artillery and mortars you can’t get close. Put a tank on the right flank of attackers and you have a field day. Put another in the dunes with and anti tank gun and you will never get near the place.
If I’m an attacker again, I’m out. Waste of time.
