Now I understand why people complains about that JUMBO

… and that’s it. I spent a lot of time playing Enlisted and now I am finally fixed.

So much stupids decisions from the devs about AI, the roll map, map battle area, the academy, and that fucking OP tank. Just be accurate to History if you don’t know how to balance properly your game. Anyway, good luck for those who’ll keep playing.

Its OP, however things will change and that’s a fact.

At least you can grenade it, or flank it, sometimes, and it explodes. Wait until you play Allies and get bombed out of existence 24/7 with no counterplay attached.

Then you’ll also understand why people complain about bombs. If Allies didn’t have Jumbo, I’d probably never play them again, to be perfectly honest.

So if they get to balance it, they need to balance the planes as well and work on matchmaking too. Maybe add a game mode that matches people of similar campaign progress.

I’ve shot some Jumbos - aiming into the hull MG port.

We nned more space to flank enemies. It’s almost just one straight road with bushes.
Everyting is in front of each other almost. I want to kill as many jumbos as possible. Throw them at me!

this is why I recommend everyone play all sides. even if you spend most of your time on one side, play all of them so you fully understand what people are talking about instead of folks just getting butt flustered when their sides gets talked about regarding nerfs

the only map i know of where jumbo is OP is d-day where it forces everyone in a linear path, with other maps providing some cover for ambushes for even the 3n to kill

Irrespective of the game mechanics, the point folks need to understand that neither the Jumbo nor the M24 were “historically” available for the Normandy campaign - what’s the point of calling a Campaign by the name of Normandy, where the equipment used does not represent the period in question. I would also suggest that the maps are dubious as well, because many of the maps feel like you’re fighting in the Alps and not on the beaches of Normandy. Nevertheless the lack of historical accuracy is becoming an issue in all the campaigns, the Moscow Campaign is best developed thusfar and the historical aberrations are slight, and workable. The Normandy and Berlin campaigns have the most significant issues and as folks point out the balancing is becoming dubious.

Airfield is like that as well. Jumbo can frontal face armor the entire time.

@23864415 wondering if Tunisia will be an amalgamation of the entire african/italian theatre with the way things are going.

i wouldn’t know since i’ve not yet seen AF yet

It’s not a bad map but it’s pretty linear.

i mean it can’t be hard to beat d-day in terms of enjoyablity

Give it time and the German panther or jag panther will show up and spank it. Other than that it’s still easy to kill with a detback and bombs. Haven’t tried with Sturm pistol cos I’m lvl 7 in normandy.

Or can we give AT cannon in engineer team more penetration? That can fix lots of problems against heavy armored tanks

Sure - you could make it the PAK 44…

It’s not an obvious bad option considering how tanks in good distance hiding in infantry groups can slaughter enemy infantries without any care - which is what JUMBO players often do.

And if tanks can easily take 5+ kill with one HE shot, and it can move, I don’t see how unbalancing this big AT cannon would be with its immbolility.

AT guns on wheels would be welcome on Normandy. Would be even better if they could work against planes too!
