Now I ask you

If you’re one of these idiots who puts barbed wire around your spawn points, I only have one question… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Around the objective is still not completely terrible.

But placing barbed wire in a doorway that is in the middle of an objective is pure evil. In effect, you’re just boycotting your own team, because attackers can easily camp outside/behind the doors and cap the objective. Since they’re still in objective.

I am experiencing this extremely often on Pacific church objective.

I played a game where they placed three layers of barbed wire between the spawn point and the door, and another layer just outside the door. You basically spawned in the barb wire. We were getting our ass kicked, so I assume someone was frustrated as well and not playing to win. That was going to be the fifth game in a row I was going to be seal clubbed, and that along with the barbed wire spawn point frustration told me to just bail, so, YES, I deserted…And I’m not losing any sleep over it.

Sometimes, if it’s a rally point, wires are built by enemies who like to troll a bit and earn some free xp

as engie main, when I see this I don´t hide my anger and I yell and destroy that shit, brrr, I can understand if someone is new and do by mistake, I can accept it and I try explain, the yell is for the dude who do on purpose

The best ones are the blokes who have a total rage outburst in the chat just because you did destroy theirs poorly placed barbed wires.

Or once I even ran into a dude who was pissed that I was building a rally point next to his. And he purposely stepped on the spot where I was building the rally point so I couldn’t finish it. And then he told me to go build it somewhere else, that I was stealing his points or whatever. I promptly left that match right after.

I have that reaction when someone builds a rally in attics, on top of silos, or roofs.

Often those turds cost the team an entire cap :no_mouth:

I know the feel, sometimes they do by accident, trying be nice or useful (new players) and you must explain it to them

Oh, no… when it’s on top of a silo, you just know it’s someone who just want to snipe all match.

Problem is the minimap doesn’t tell with precision where the rally is, or if it’s high or hround level… so the entire team ends up on the silo while the enemy laughs…

Same for attics or roofs… (bots are afraid of heights and laders)

Ladders are no longer a problem for bots. At least from what I have experienced, they’re very okay with them now.

:smiling_face_with_tear: I would be happy if my teams would build rallies even with this bad barbed wire placement. I can go streaks of games without seeing any rally other than my own ones.

just don’t let people build rally points higher than half a story above ground level (its fine to build them in the middle of switchback staircase at most)
Would make the game much better
less geniuses getting your team stuck on roofs, in attics or other 5Head spots
less stupidity where you can somehow respawn inside cap zones because you can build a rally on higher floors of multistory buildings and immediately move into the objective, without much recourse for the other team
other things like that

I put a Flamer squad in my deck the other day…

so when chat doesnt work, i can get rid of blueberries that insist on blocking our doorways onto the point repeatedly…learn or burn

i see you took “kill it with fire” quite literally, damn

Another thing I hate… I don’t know the map names, but German vs Russians where the first cap point is a trench with two roofs covering part of it. I played a game where we were defending and someone built sandbags literally every two feet under the roofs, and throughout the entire trench. It was such a bitch getting out from under the enclosed trench because when you tried to climb over the sandbags my guy got his head stuck in the cement roof for about two seconds before he would get over it, and it took FOREVER to get through that trench. We lost the trench very quick because no one inside could do anything but be easy targets to the enemy. That was the only cap point the enemy took and probably wouldn’t have taken that if not for all the sand bags. I understand the idea, but that did nothing but help the enemy by trapping the defenders who saved their squads inside the little trench break rooms.
