I would love the game before merge played hours every day even if i got my ass kicked in a sweep it was half fun back pre merge… Now even when I’m on a winning side there is no fun in the game feels like the soul is gone from it. there still some event left but i just don’t have the will left to push through it. i got both squads but that felt like a chore and not fun.
im done ill check in if they fix the game back to what it was but other than getting units in events i will not play regularly anymore.
I still enjoy the game after the merge.
Players are actually challenging to play against, Actually Im having even more fun than before because I no longer have to grind for campaign levels and duplicate equipment.
Not getting the same maps over and over and over again as it used to be especially in Stalingrad.
I think the meta has shifted, it’s a touch more sweaty, and suiting the sniper/Tank/camping playstyle. Any playstyle is still viable, but it’s certainly not the relaxing shooter that it used to be. Maybe thats what most people want IDK. In this new year I am being more selective on which games I’ll be playing, Enlisted is one that will be getting parked for a while. I’m a big fan of the game, but it’s changed (as games do) and the biggest gripe for me is the grindy quests you get that seemed to be designed to milk gold out of you. You can play for free sure, but anyone with a job will quickly run out of time and have to pay, and that grips my sh*t. I personally am having less fun so I’m just going to go and do something else. I’ll re-download it at a later date when I’m in the mood for it which is fine, and if I’m not and stay away that’s fine too, i’ve enjoyed the ride on the whole, suppored the game and I wish them the best.
Imo that’s the biggest lie of enlisted.
“Every” playstyle is possible but not necesarry viable. A dude sniping with KD 20/0 isn’t as rewarded (exp) and helpfull as a dude runing with SMG at the objective with 10/20. There are multiple examples like that.

But I am now fiercely regretting having spent most of the holiday season on this game.
There are many moments when I think it’s a shitty game, but it’s intensely addictive and has caught me and won’t let me go. (while booting up the game).
The matchmaking is completly bugged. Playing against BR3-5 while using BR 1-2. Paras are op and destroy the flow of the game. I played at least 20 rounds in the last two days, but only saw the same three maps.
And nobody is interested in teamplay. No marks, no reallys, ammoboxes,… Its just becomes less fun with every round I play. Honestly feels like Counterstrike, if you dont have at least three premates you gonna loose.
And yes the game is a lot less fun for me too, dont really know what caused this
I have same feeling as you OP. I need to force myself to play and with event i need to force myself even more. I would rather keep playing other games (old and new) than a new Enlisted. It’s no longer fun your teams are braindead and enemy team is a pro-esport destroyers of the world or the other way around where you feel useless just as much as enemy team.
Now games are won by amount of chinese/russian tryhards to the console gamers ratio the more of the former the easier is to win and the more of the latter the easier is to lose (game will last 6mins).
Even if i get at the top1 i don’t feel the accomplishment but the relief that the match is done and the anger mixed with disappointment because my team haven’t done anything, for example in last match nobody except me and maybe one or two guys defended the bomb site, i even smoked with my tank there 5 times and guess what? Nobody showed up but enemy team.

The absolute randomness of the maps is stupid. Yes I like variability, but I preferred to choose the theater to fight in. This variability is so extreme, I’ve started deserting theaters I don’t like, and will continue to do so if I keep playing. I’m just not interested in playing in the Pacific as the Americans, and after deserting enough times to make more desertions than game play, I don’t play the Americans.
I do like that we don’t have to grind for the same levels as we did before, but I do not like that the game is now like War thunder where the maps don’t matter and are entirely random. the problem is, unlike War thunder where there is a mix of vehicles from every nation, and so the map really does not matter, in this game all your squads are from the same nation; so the maps do matter more.
After playing daily before the change, now I dread starting the game up and I am quickly losing interest unfortunately. While the old system was duplicative in effort, this new system is more arcade like, and thus unappealing.
imagine just coming back from work wanting 1 or 2 chill rounds and then the game just turned into an competitive slaughterhouse in which people embrace the “if you cant beat them join them” mentality
Since the changeover Ive all but lost interest in the game.
I tried every tier and its the same on every level, its one person in the server winds up with over 100 kills somtimes its 2 people working together and they get over 100 each but each time the other team winds up with like 12 kills stuck in spawn unable to advance being bombed and sniped into hell.
Also, a friend told me the new cheat for this game came out last week and Ive noticed a lot more people winding up with 0 deaths and 140+ kills.
I think I still play cause I am a sadist.
