Not every enlisted squad is equal

There are bots, noobs and new players in every game those are basically wasting our team slots + tickets and being free farm for the enemy team and this is equal to free loose for either our or enemy team(depends on mode, side and amount of those ‘anchors’ per team)

I don’t think we need to penalize noobs or new players as there are still no complex guides for this game to be good at.
The only way how I think this could be fixed, to make it fair, is using ratio based on kd of the player:
If player has less then 1 kill per spent squad then it’s ticket consumption + reward for killing soldiers of this squad by enemy should be multiplied by some value between 0.9 and 0.1, based on how many squads this player spent per 1 kill(e.g. 9 kills per 10 wasted squads and 1 kill per 10+ wasted squads).
This double edged fix could both bring fair ticket consumption by active players and remove any desire of some players to farm bad performers and to focus on teamplay to achieve mission goal.

Also isn’t that logical? More experienced/efficient squads should cost more than some fresh/bad performing squads :thinking:

Mhm yeah its just on some maps, people desert a lot which is then replaced with AI. You will surely understand which map to avoid if you don’t like bots ruining your life

As I mentioned in my post, it’s related not only to bots but to low skill players as well.
IMHO this is gameplay problem, not per map problem

Its not complex guide, but its all about getting some experience on the game. If you don’t like to do that then getting to BR 2 or 3 quicker is your best choice as you will sometimes face BR 3-4 people headon with some chance to facing BR 1.

Well this is a combined arms game where you are forced to play with douchebags, noobs, and bots. You all have equal responsibility to spend ticket wisely and completing objectives sooner. If noobs are being the exceptional and experienced players gets lower score from it. It will brew more complains as a lot of players are that bad enough to get less than 1 K/D that causes low score gain which means less xp, and then also means low silver whereas silver is the great issue there.

Well eventually, low skill player will get up to high skill player in BR 2-3 I expect as these are mid stage of the game.

Not really, its not gameplay problem but teamplay problem as there is bunch of douchebags who ignores anything and just to stupid stuff like barricading whole entrance to a objective to enemies and allies side alike. There is also stupid bombers, and motar men who just spam explosions in friendly zones just to create concussions and easily die to enemy. There is some blind tankers who doesn’t give a fuck and instead continue to stay blind.

To me it feels like that either there’s all of a sudden a horde of noobs in even BR5 games or one of the recent updates has broken the pathfinding / objective focus of the bots.

You have large numbers of extremely useless players hanging at rear and flanks totally ignoring the game. Feels like half of the team too.

After Steam release there are tons of new players with some premium BR IV-V squads/machinery those give them free access to BRV :upside_down_face:

You see, few days ago I faced Panther series as BR 2 player. Its just sometimes the matchmaking goes full broken mode.

The most useless one which is pretty much half of the 11 player slots is sometimes the snipers, radio, and motarmen that camp and do no shit except annoy some enemy players from gerygoze.

I suggested something similar but with AI. Basically the better your KD as infantry, the more dangerous are the enemy bots. And the oposite, if your KD is low, enemy bots will miss you more often.
Sadly this didn’t go anywhere.

I don’t really like this mechanism

Using KD as a benchmark will only make passive people more willing to hide behind rather than try to enter the stronghold.
This puts more pressure on serious players

in addition
Some serious players rely on constantly changing their squads for support and quick strikes to fight.
This means I have to die more times
If this mechanism will affect the income of players like me who prioritize versatility and efficiency, I will not support it.

I think a better approach is to punish based on ranking and score
Because climbing to a higher position usually means that they have done more things or killed more people or are more useful.
And most of those who are negative are in the bottom 7
We don’t need to punish everyone
Just punish the last 3 or 4 people.
Specifically, the income is halved
There is no penalty when their score is close to the 5th place player (the difference is less than 500)
In this way, they will make the most basic efforts to avoid being punished

So you want skill based match making.

How can there be a system that determines who is good and who is not? Rank? Amount of total games played? Kill death ratio per player? My oldest kid used to play and he would only play as a sniper, so his death to kill ratio was quite high, as for me, I throw caution to the wind and just rush in so I kill a lot, and get killed a lot.

I certainly don’t have the answer to making the games closer, but I think a start is keeping BR levels close, only one up or one down, never up or down more then one BR level. If your battling with your level 5 squads, and everyone of your enemy has level 5 squads, but several of your team mates have level 3 squads, your team is at a significant disadvantage…Or vise versa.

So, the squads aren’t equal because of talent level and weapon level of the players, then it’s exacerbated by people getting frustrated and deserting, hence the domino effect. But to be honest, even if all people were playing people of the same exact BR level, your still going to have game mismatches at times because of talent and experience differences.

Ideally, they should have only people playing same level BR ratings. However, everyone says that DF says their is not enough players for that. So, if you’re going to have to mix BR ratings, then only go 1-2 (with NO CHANCE of a BR3)…3-4 (with NO CHANCE of BR5) and leave BR5 alone. If all my weapons are level 2 their should be zero chance that I will face BR3 weapons, but I do all the time. And If I all my weapons are BR3, then there is no chance I should ever face BR5, but on occasion I do.

I don’t know how relevant that “Not enough players” is as I see an awful lot of very low ranked people in games. Maybe these low ranked players get a new next level weapon and want to play with it so they get instantly uptier’d as the rest of their weapons are lower level, and become useless as your team mate. IDK, just speculation. Unless there are a lot of people who don’t play much, then there are a lot of low level people still trying to climb the tech tree. I can play any level I want with my Allies and for the most part Germans, but my Russians are only maxed out at level 2, but I do have level 3,4 and 5 weapons. I just don’t use them since I know that puts me in a higher level where my weapons are going to be more inferior. They need to get away from their “soft rule” policy as it just pisses people off. If I wanted to play against BR 3 weapons then I would not have chose all level 2 weapons. :joy: I would think there should have been a big influx of players from Steam, but if not, that probably is the death nail in the coffin for Enlisted’s long term future.

I think the gap between the former and level 3 is not that big
They should learn to be flexible
Instead of complaining that you can’t use the explosive packs and anti-tank rifles on your hands to attack level 3 tanks head-on.

I really like the earliest level classification
When I use level 3 equipment (bazooka mainly)
I can make good use of skills and terrain to fight against all categories

(However, the actual combat gap between hand-operated weapons and mainstream semi-automatic and fully automatic weapons is still huge)
This is also the reason why passive players always get massacred and fail because of improper use of equipment.
