I really like this game as some quick after work fun with my friends.
BUT we kind of dropped it a bit a couple months ago. We tried going back to Pacific War, but needing to play hundreds of hours to get proper vehicles/weapons was a major turn off.
If I play the game, I always go back to the Normandy campaign because that’s the one I have all the fun stuff.
I feel like a lot of old players like myself do not play the game or other campaigns for that problem.
I know it’s a way of extending the gameplay life, onboarding new players, and sort of tied in the business model. But maybe there is another way.
Ideally I would just transfer my plane and tank level to the other campaign. If not, I will probably not sink time in the other campaigns. But others will Im sure. With all that said, love this game.
Don’t worry. In Pacific, there’s no real “proper” vehicle, after the spaa available from the beginning.
Since engagement distance is also very long, bolt actions, also available at the beginning, are the best weapons…
However I agree that the grind… is too long.

I stopped at level 21 axis 19 alies.
It’s just, not fun…
Maps are cool looking but play like shit
Weapons look cool but boring to use
Vehicle gameplay Is boring as hell coz low caliber /map layout
And so on…
I hope to see a map with tunels like in Bf5, and m2 carbine and I waste more Time in it. Now, I rather play other campaigns even tho they are maxed.

I am on my “completionist path” part 2 (getting every squad in entire game to max level), almost done with Axis side on Pacific, and not so far on Allies too (max campaign levels on both sides). Hard grind anyway especially for Axis tanks and planes.

I got sold on one of the images of the japanese plane on the aircraft carrier.
They should just make a vehicle focused areonoval battle, where it starts with dog fighting and bombing each others carriers or land airfield, and then proceeds to launch a bunch of transports that one team can bomb with artillery and planes and mgs when on the beach. And then a quick land battle to finish

Well. Afaik you get the tag for Berlin. Im not sure about Moscow though
The land battles are often one-sided and the number of players is clearly skewed.
The air battle is almost useless, having to enjoy a flight between London and Tokyo for a 30-second bombing run.
