Normandy vehicle balance

m36 have better thickness, 90 mm gun.
also Comet (tank) ,Cruiser Mk VIII Challenger and a24 (cromwell tank) are capable to destroy tigers.
yet they added M18 GMC with paper thin armor.
darkflow working with gaijin and using war thunder models. so they have enourmous repertoir about vehicles. i dont know what they are really thinking while adding something new to the game. do they ever think of balance ?

Because the next West allaies campaign is sure battle of bulge so some tanks like

Firefly,m36,m24,jumbo 76(w) gonna be used here

Well as a Tank Destroyer the M18 is actually very capable of contesting with Tigers. Obviously the M18 opted for mobility over armor protection. Problem is unlike War Thunder here on Enlisted that mobility means very little in comparison to good armor protection and Infantry fighting capabilities here on Enlisted

vehicles overall are too sliw to comp too smal maps.
that 250hp irl 150kph going mersedes at best goes around 40kph, twice speed than foot

That’d be the dumbest decision by DF up to date. In one fell swoop it’d would kill Normandy the moment the update released and would make the majority of the community very, very angry (as it stands, Normandy is still the most popular campaign in the game).

It’s good to have as many toys for this sandbox as we can. It has so much more content than most other WW2 shooters and more keeps getting added. Also every vehicle has its place. Sometimes we get light vehicles, heavy, everything has its novelty

While GJ have enormous repertoir about vehicles, darkflow didn’t even fix DM and old physical bugs. So you have too much expectations. About vehicle balance it’s very hard to fix and requires much time and work with
-DM
-physics
-features like stabilizers
-mapdesign, which is completely awful now
So get some popcorn and wait
