Only the M8 Rocket (Now it has the correct 24mm of Pen) has been nerfed(Fixed) while the HVAR has it’s penetration value (Fixed) but otherwise HVAR has no issue killing tanks with the exception of a King Tiger.

Not a nerf, it was a fix, M8 rockets had 200+mm pen, while HVAR had 75. It clearly was too much.
About the original topic itself, well it won’t matter with the merge.

Why are you comparing a heavy ground attack plane (that by 1942 was horribly obsolete too) to basically full blown fighter?
Btw the Ju 188 gets scary when you level up it’s gunners (i think, unless there was ANOTHER stealth patch recently that made them aimbots)
I have just received the 188 - bought a few levels to get some gunners - already have 2 P38’s a P-47, a P-51 , a few Wellingtons and a couple of “TP-43’s” - not sure how many flyouts - maybe 8-10?
